- Please note that the chord symbols do not indicate the changes to the song nor is it 100% accurate, it is just my interpretation of what Charles is thinking while he does the reharm and chords. (side note: I am not a pianist)

Thanks u
You rock
Thank you so much.
Beautiful !
Love bro
Love all the transcription, but the final "um" got me
um
um
This is the shit that makes you cry if you think hard enough
This piece will always remind me of pain but in a good way
When the typhoon hit my city the power went out for almost a month and basically had no internet for weeks
And I downloaded bill evans - emily right before the storm hit so basically it was playing on loop while I watched the quiet dark night as the wind blew a breeze while a candle was lit next to me with a book in my hand
aha charles gotta see hehe
that very first G note made all the emos cry
Wow, love this from the time it was released as the theme song, " The Americanization of Emily"
Wonderful!
Thankss!
I’m a big fan from Korea! I love this melody you made🤍
This is so good! I'm classically trained, so this is a big help for me. I'll be learning this in the next few weeks, thank you so much!
Do your teachers teach you how to learn by ear
I just started taking jazz lessons this semester, so I'm getting in the groove of learning by ear lol. @@durelldarcey6639
C’est si bon. Arrangement parfait de A à Z.

Great! Thanks.
This is really nice! Wonderful transcription. I love funny things like notating an "um" (:
Emily is such a pretty composition
Really amazing. Have you heard The Singers Unlimited recording of it? So beautiful!

So good pro ❤
I just love this piece and love the way you play it Charles. I'm sure you must be hip to the amazing recording of The Singers Unlimited, singing this piece from Gene Puerling's unbelievable arrangement?
oh those snare drum strings :D note to self, month in and can barely play it through :)
❤️❤️❤️
Hey dude, amaziing stuff :))
Could you please upload the sheet music as a whole ? thxx

@@Zenith127music thank you soooo much
Beautiful rendition Charles. Do you not have a solo section for it as it’s a pity to just finish after such a short first section?
❤️
Very nice but do you not have a solo mid section to go with it? Cheers
I love thisss
(also my name is Emily 😂)
Nice transcription. Thanks for providing the download. I'm uncomfortable with the rhythmic feeling of the performance at certain points. It's the original playing, not the transcription.
Has "lately - stevie wonder" vibes at the start
Nice tune and great playing. Awesome transcription too. But am I the only one who's annoyed by the melody at 1:25? I would have gone octave E's or something on that A7#11. It just hit my ears wrong. It feels too passive and restrictive to let the melody descend there. Maybe that's how the tune goes, I don't know. But that's just my two cents anyway. Awesome video, though! Thumbs up.
*Hm*
Bill Evanish:)
Nice! A few rhythms need fixing, but otherwise great transcription!
banana
Nice
"HMM" LOL
Bar 27 Em13? Its just C6/9
The next two chords are still over a C bass it's just he doesn't play them. The whole bar is essentially C6 with that passing diminishing chord
Sometimes pianists don't play root notes so writing Em13 imo is harder to read for someone sight reading I think
The chord on bar 20 as well...are you sure it's just D G# D G# on the first beat?
Bar 38 and bar 40 have wrong chords too. 38 is A7 (bass decends to G on the 3rd beat, and 40 is Em7
I don't get the 9/8 to 4/4 I cant follow that
U double minor?
PLSSSS.. DO A SYNTHESIA VERSION
PLSS.. PLSS
Sounds like sibelius is playing it. Come on, put some soul into it
Bella
Wonderful !
