Thank you tractioncontroldelete. The BMW R NineT Racer is special. Feels special. And looks special in every way. And is a hark back to the 60s race bike. What a 60s SuperBike would have been like. BMW did such a great job recreating the 60s race bike. But with fuel injection. Computer controlled ignition. Computer controlled everything. And BMW have refined the 1179cc Boxer race engine. And worked out all the problems of the past. What an engine. The BMW R NineT Racer wants to dive into every corner. Lean and shoot you out the other side. In super fast speed. The steering is race bike. BMW R NineT Racer wants to go fast. The race engine encourages you to go fast. BMW R NineT Racer doesn't do slow. Just touching the throttle you feel the power. And the torque. The NineT Racer wants to overtake everything. Everything is in your way. BMW is special. Sensual. Thanks to the SuperBike Brembo brakes you have tons of stopping power and lots of feel. The brakes are incredibly powerful. S model of the BMW R NineT Racer comes with ASC. Stability control. Heated grips. 60s style race spoke wheels. BMW did amazing. And epic to ride. So fast. Stunning in every way. Luke Rides loved reviewing the BMW R NineT Racer. And actually bought her. Now has the very R NineT Racer Luke Rides reviewed. Amazing. The balance. The BMW R NineT Racer is so beautifully balanced. You feel like you are jet fighter. Warplane. Ready to attack and destroy everything in front of you. BMW R NineT Racer is what would have been the jet fighter. The warplane of the road and the race track back then. Thank you for such a nice comment. Hopefully we will speak again. Take care :)
Thank you tractioncontroldelete. It's the truth. BMW should be so proud of the R NineT Racer. Hark back to the 60s race bike. What a 60s SuperBike would have been. Even the little things that other motovloggers do not talk about when reviewing the sensual BMW R NineT Racer. BMW even engraved BMW into most of the bolts and fixings. BMW love their creation so much they made sure the fixings and bolts have their name. To remind you of what your riding. Brilliant. Your going to love the BMW R NineT Racer. Special in every way. Thank you for replying back. Hopefully we will speak again. Take care :)
I watch every R nineT Racer video that I can so eventually your channel popped up on my list. You’re obviously happy with the hi-rise bars as you didn’t complain about the riding position and that screen you have is also I think a bit higher than the standard. I sometimes wonder if BMW had offered similar bars as an affordable option whether the bike would have sold better as the riding position seemed to be the main complaint people had. I see your exhaust looks like an Acropovic as fitted to the R nineT Scrambler ? Any other modifications? You also have the optional ASC which you didn’t mention in the video. You are not the 1st to struggle with the side stand but I’ve never had any issues, I use my heel to locate the end of the stand which was what you were trying to do at least part of the time. The short location knob on the side side which sits in front of the gear lever when the stand is in the up position is a waste of time and it was several months into ownership before I even realised what it was supposed to be for!
Awww. That's so cool you found Luke Rides test ride of the stunning R NineT Racer. Hehe. The hi-rise bars do help. They help take some of the weight off your arms as this is a race bike. BMW hark back to a 70s race bikes. 70s SuperBike. You are in the race position. That SuperBike position ready to attack. So your body weight is pushing into the handlebars. When you are going fast. And opening up that mighty 1200cc boxer race engine. You understand why. You have to experience this. These are called Helibar risers. Luke Rides loves them. The most important thing is helibar risers don't change the geometry of the sexy BMW R NineT Racer. This is VERY important. Because Luke Rides has heard there are bar risers for the BMW R NineT Racer that can change the feel of the steering for the BMW R NineT Racer. Which is very bad. Remember this a race bike. Classic 70s SuperBike made modern. BMW with their racing experience and technology. knowledge know best. Not some third party company. Thanks to the Helibar risers you can ride pretty comfortably for good hour to hour and half of riding before you start to get pretty uncomfortable. Considering this a race bike that is amazing. On a modern exotica SuperBike your back and arms. Your whole body would be screaming if you tried to ride anymore than an hour. Luke Rides knows that from the exotica that is the Kawasaki ZX10R SuperBike. The racing screen from Puig is the best. The most beautiful racing screen for the BMW R NineT Racer. And is racing technology. Unlike other companies offering a higher screen for the BMW R NineT Racer. That was why Luke Rides didn't complain about the riding position. True. Luke Rides hasn't heard of BMW offering bar risers as an option for the stunning BMW R NineT Racer. Remember this is a Race bike. Classic 70s inspired SuperBike. There is nothing comfortable about a race bike. No matter who tells you different. Race bikes are weapons. Made for speed power torque beauty and being a missile on the road or the race track. BMW R NineT Racer is homed down. The suspension is stiff and firm for the racer model. You can feel it in how she just attacks the corners with speed and stability. And agility just destroying each corner and coming out like a missile. You have to experience it. No. Remember stewy62 this is a race bike. Classic SuperBike. If people want comfort then why the hell would you buy a race bike? That is what everyone is forgetting about when complaining about the riding position. They forget you are riding a race bike. Classic SuperBike. She was not built for comfort. If you want comfort buy the standard R NineT or a Sport Tourer. Not a Race bike. Everyone forgets that. The Akrapovic. That's the interesting one. Because the mighty BMW R NineT Racer still has her Cat. Catalytic converter at the time. Akrapovic just doesn't bring out the noise. The real boom of the BMW R NineT Racer. You might be thinking. Wait. what? But it's true. As BMW R NineT Racer is being held back and made silent as she is EURO 5. That mighty BMW R NineT Racer is really been muted to meet the latest emission regulations. And the headers are heavy. Thick to meet latest emission regulations. And sound regulations. There is a pretty sound there. Akrapovic just can't do enough to battle past the sound restrictions created by the cat and the thick headers.. But they do look nice. Akrapovic are the most beautiful stunning sexy best quality exhaust systems in the world. No other modifications Luke Rides can think of. That's a good point. And heated grips as standard. Should have mentioned the ASC. Funny isn't it the way BMW have positioned the kick stand. Haha. You have to take your time to find it then bring it down. If you have never ridden BMW R NineT Racer. Race bike classic SuperBike like this. Luke Rides was actually at the end of the test ride freaking out. Luke Rides kept trying to find the kick stand. As it is black as well. It took Luke Rides a while before he found it. Luke Rides was actually freaking out about what to do if he couldn't find the kick stand. Oh my god. Haha. Thank you for such an interesting comment stewy62. Hopefully we will speak again. Take care :)
@@luke_rides Thanks for your response, it was, er, worth waiting for ! I was pleased to see you are riding again after your injury, hopefully before too long you will be videoing yourself riding the Racer, weather permitting !
Awwww. Thank you stewy62. That is very kind. I do always try to reply back to comments whenever I can. Luke Rides has noticed a lot of big motovloggers are not like that. And often ignore comments. Will only reply to comments that are about them or are favorable to the Motovlogger. Such is the world we live in. Haha. Thank you stewy62. Luke Rides was hit from behind by a dam Tesla. Tesla using cameras for the first time instead of radar. The front camera didn't judge the braking distance between it and my Kawasaki SuperBike. And rammed the back of me while I was stopping to let another car pass me. Mentally I was crying and broken. It has taken so much time to manage the pain I live in every day. So I can take the weight of a motorcycle. Now worked my way to the Ducati Super Naked. Continuing to build my body back up. To get to that day were Luke Rides will be able to take the weight of the BMW R NineT Racer. Hark back to 70s SuperBike. 70s Race bike. By BMW. Hearing the boom of that 1200cc race boxer engine. The stunning sexy noises that massive engine makes. Luke Rides is very lucky to have the full titanium Akrapovic system. With No Baffle. Woohoo. Yay. Oh my god. It is sexual. Hearing the natural noises of the mighty 1200cc race boxer engine. The bangs. The pops. The 1200cc race engine bouncing off the walls. The shear boom in the air. It is a special engine. Just like the modern exotica like the Kawasaki ZX10R SuperBike. Or R1 SuperBike. SuperBikes make the most beautiful stunning sexy jaw dropping amazing sexual noises on earth. On 2 wheels. Now the weather has turned pretty bad. Just constant rain. And the roads are so dirty from everything the rain washes up on our cars and motorcycle. Then you just know once the rain stops we will be in winter temperatures. Local government will be spraying road salt on the roads. Very likely wouldn't see the stunning BMW R NineT Racer until 2024. After the local government stop spraying road salt on the roads. Grrrrr. Luke Rides does miss the BMW R NineT Racer more than you know. Just got to keep working and keep going. Waiting for that day to take the sexy BMW R NineT Racer on the road once more. Thank you for just a kind comment. Hopefully we will speak again. Take care :)
