All wonderful guitars. I like the Tyler pickups, you and that guitar sound great. Your playing is so relaxing and beautiful it makes them all sound great. Thanks Jon keep up the wonderful videos !
With so many guitars you reviewed in 2023, I agree with this selection. To me, the Yamaha was very special while also loved the tones from the James Tyler, Shijie (awesome P90s) and Shùe. I look forward to seeing what 2024 will put in your capable hands, plus continuing growing your channel. Cheers Jon! ✌️🤩👍🎸
As i watch your inspiring performances and the countless guitars you review, i think of the silly deal-breakers that some commenters have regarding headstocks, pickguard shapes, maple fretboards, indian laurel fretboards. FOR ALL THE BEGINNERS OUT THERE!!! The two most important features on a guitar are playability and sound. Anything else can be upgraded (pickups, tuners, bridge). DO NOT BE A FOOL AND NOT BUY A GEM FOR NO REASON!!! ESPECIALLY THE LOOK OF THE HEADSTOCK!!! Watching this video should show one that an unattractive headstock has nothing to do with the purpose of a guitar. They ALL sound fantastic!!! PS Jon, due to an accident, i lost part of my pinkie finger and rarely used it when playing. I always felt a limitation because of this until i discovered your great channel. I've watched you play a complete song without using your pinkie finger!!! I am extremely inspired and have begun to play more often with the passion i once played with prior to my injury. I'd like to sincerely thank you for this!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!
Wow! That's an expensive selection of guitars there Jon. I think that's a reflection of how highly your ability is considered by manufacturer and seller. The t-shirts kinda reflect your character development of recent times too.

Hey Jon, if you get the chance to review a G&L ASAT Classic S with alnico pickups and compare it with a Nashville Tele, please do so.
Chances are really slim but I’ll try

Everything sounds good in your hands! 😪 You should "rent" a medium good player to play these instruments! 😉
