I love that you used the empty clear pole for support. I have done that as well with my Monstera Aurea and plan to do it also with all of my Thai's and my Albo. It just makes so much sense 🥰 I loved the video!! I tend to also be a chaotic repotted 😅

So glad I’m not the only one 😅. I definitely agree, I think empty poles for monstera deliciosas is the way to go

@@iamclaudiaqWhy? How do roots grip? Why even use clear pole?

I know a lot of people worry about rot when it comes to propagating in water but I usually let my cuttings callous over night and I’ve propped over 30 cuttings of my albo and not one has rot. Plants are so resilient especially monstera, I’m sure yours will bounce back from the repot and chop quick!

I honestly haven’t had issues with propagating in water either. I’ve been sealing the cut on special plants just to be “safe” 😊

Watching you using the wax with the wick not extinguish is so stressful! aren't you worried the dried bits are gonna catch on fire :o

I am terrified to do my second albo. As I love both of my two but I don’t have the room and I’ve got three Thai a Mint and an Aurea. I don’t have the room lol.
But I am going to chop my second soon and sell the props and keep mumma for awhile. I use a moss pole and I just soaked the plant in water because it’s easy to remove when it’s wet ❤.

Beautiful!! I do have a question. Do you ever see an issue when cutting the aerial roots like you did? My mouth dropped open when you did that because I didn't know we could lol. Mine drive me crazy on all my Monsteras and I want to copy that. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your video!

I am just curious why you leave the poles empty. In my thinking if you filled it with moss the plant would root in it and it would be easier to chop it later. Just wondering your plan with it. I always make a huge mess when I am doing most any project but especially transplanting. The plant looks gorgeous and your pups in the background is a bonus. Thanks so much for sharing!!! I always enjoy your videos.

Thank you so much for watching! I left the pole empty bc I find monstera deliciosa doesn’t need to root into a pole to upsize and mature. But you’re right, for propagating purposes it would work great.

@@iamclaudiaqthen why bother? Can't you use a stick for support

So you did that just to make the plant look fuller?
