This bike is for rich people not us average joes. A friends friend has this bike along with a Triumph 1200 and a Land Cruiser which he also took to Ladakh.

There are 2 versions. This is the S version which gets better components. There is a standard version as well which is 15.75l ex showroom so around 18l on road.
The only differences are that the S version gets a bigger forks with fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, an up down quickshifter and the artic white color scheme.
@@brendonfernandes2877 I remember 2 or 3 years ago the S version was about 13 ex showroom, normal was about 11 lakh and ninja sx was about 10 lakh so there was a comparison between them. These new prices don't make sense for a nearly 100hp bike even for a ducati

In 2021 they relaunched the bike after the BS6 norms for 13.49 lakh and 15.49 lakh respectively.
Now with the OBD 2 norms the prices have gone even higher unforunately.
OBD 2 norms has been a stickler point for most brands. The Street Triple launch has been delayed because of OBD 2 norms support
Yes this isn't a popular model in India but even the Ninja 1000 which weighs a lot more is now 12 l ex showroom which is just 4 lakhs cheaper than the base model

Supersport950 is the most useless Ducati ever.
I can't even imagine about paying ₹20L+ for this which doesn't even looks like a Panigale niether performs like one.
Triumph, BMW and Japenese brands have better options for this price which are worth buying.
Got myself a ss950 and always keep up with all the litre classes on sunday rides...... Not useless unless you are a paper monkey (those BHP talks from paper).... 18L on road tamilnadu.....it hurts a bit......but the amount of attraction it gets.....WOWW

Ducati's Supersport 950 is the most useless Ducati ever.
I would rather get Panigale V2 over this - atleast it looks like a Panigale and not a hybrid (sports + tourer) which also delivers way less for the price.
There are far superior Sports Tourers by BMW, Triumph, Kawasaki and all which are also worth buying over this crap.
First look at yourself before judging anybody on the internet kid.
I know plenty of people who have supersports bikes. They are mostly garage queens and are ridden only if all the conditions are perfect like good weather, roads are in good conditions and only on certain highways because other highways you can't exceed 200 kph. The people who have Sports Tourers on the other hand use their bikes much much more often as the bikes are a lot easier to ride than the super commited supersports bikes. A few super sports owners who think just 240 kph top speed isn't enough have crashed and died as our roads just aren't safe for such speeds. So unless you live near a track and can do regular track days there is little reason to pick up a highly commited Supersports bike instead of a far more usable Sports Tourer.
Obviously this bike is pretty expensive but people saying 110 bhp is useless on our roads are fooling themselves.

Haha. Except for the design this bike is a joke! I am a Ducati fanboy but this one is the worst Ducati ever. Price-wise and spec-wise. A human being with a working brain would buy a Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX which comes with Cruise Control at a way better price. plus the symphony of a 4-cyclinder engine. The real DHOOM dream of every Indian. And a person on richer side would wisely buy a Multistrada V4/V2 by paying a bit more. This bike has a ground clearance issue like the Ninja and is also pricy like the Multistradas. Cant find a good reason to buy one.
