Hey man, I just found your music. Drug addiction part 1 showed up on my playlist and I never related to a song so much. I was shooting dope from 17 to 25. Got clean when I found out I was going to have a daughter (who’s 14 now). I’ve been an avid hip hop fan since I was a kid (hate most of the new stuff though) and nothing brought tears to my eyes like that drug addiction song. Especially the last line that you repeated about your daughter. I’ve found success in web development and content creation, which is something I never thought I could do. It’s been a long time since I lived that life, but your songs hit me hard. I appreciate you making them and speaking up for addicts ❤️

Bro. These lyrics... I'm 5 years clean. I'm working so hard at my recovery in therapy. The lyrics about how doing the right thing feels wrong. How you cut out the toxic. How you only pray now. How the choice between good and evil how all of it. Im in that fight now... the ups the downs... recovery is work and it can be so hard facing who I became. I'm becoming that person I was too afraid to be. I'm helping others along the way speaking up and speaking out about addiction. I just want you to know this and I hope you get to read this. I was at a point where I had enough. I was homeless living in a tent in western Massachusetts. I was 6'1 136 lbs panhandling to eat and i needed treatment. I want to tell you how I ended up there. I was panhandling and a woman stopped gave me some food from her church and said please take this Bible... that night I tried giving it away to a friend. He was going to toss it into the fire we had going. I couldn't let it go into the fire it was just wrong that's a Bible. I stuck in my bag. The next day with my broken little free phone. I went to a McDonald's to charge it wash up in the bathroom. I bought a cup of juice with my last $2. I don't know why I sat down and read some of that Bible. Then later that day with a fresh charge I was using free wifi outside a local business and I just wanted to listen to music. I never heard of you or your song Drug Addiction. I heard it that day it just randomly came up. I listened to it and it broke me right there. All these people passing by in and out the store. I was bawling. I hadn't cried since my dog died when I was 8. I was 39 just bawling. I listened to that song that day man i don't know how many times over and over lord knows. I want you to know that day triggered the gate to open. It led me to finally get help. I got a hold of a detox. Then out and Into treatment. I ended up renting a room no bigger than a prison cell to me it was a 2 bedroom house. I met a girl I was a year clean and sober sadly she was a hard core alcoholic come to find out. I told her I won't jeopardize my recovery. I said we can just be friends. I told her all about my journey. I told her where I went to detox the program and she wanted to go. I said I just did this chapter and I'll go back and rewalk it. I sais but if you should try to pull me under I will cut you loose my son needs me. So she got help she's now my wife. She's 4 years clean and sober and now a recovery coach at a sober home. I speak up and out and help others online in a support group as well. I just want you to know your music was the domino that triggered my sobriety then hers and now many others... so thank you! So very much and God bless you!

Bro. These lyrics... I'm 5 years clean. I'm working so hard at my recovery in therapy. The lyrics about how doing the right thing feels wrong. How you cut out the toxic. How you only pray now. How the choice between good and evil how all of it. Im in that fight now... the ups the downs... recovery is work and it can be so hard facing who I became. I'm becoming that person I was too afraid to be. I'm helping others along the way speaking up and speaking out about addiction. I just want you to know this and I hope you get to read this.
I was at a point where I had enough. I was homeless living in a tent in western Massachusetts. I was 6'1 136 lbs panhandling to eat and i needed treatment. I want to tell you how I ended up there. I was panhandling and a woman stopped gave me some food from her church and said please take this Bible... that night I tried giving it away to a friend. He was going to toss it into the fire we had going. I couldn't let it go into the fire it was just wrong that's a Bible. I stuck in my bag. The next day with my broken little free phone. I went to a McDonald's to charge it wash up in the bathroom. I bought a cup of juice with my last $2. I don't know why I sat down and read some of that Bible. Then later that day with a fresh charge I was using free wifi outside a local business and I just wanted to listen to music. I never heard of you or your song Drug Addiction. I heard it that day it just randomly came up. I listened to it and it broke me right there. All these people passing by in and out the store. I was bawling. I hadn't cried since my dog died when I was 8. I was 39 just bawling. I listened to that song that day man i don't know how many times over and over lord knows.
I want you to know that day triggered the gate to open. It led me to finally get help. I got a hold of a detox. Then out and Into treatment. I ended up renting a room no bigger than a prison cell to me it was a 2 bedroom house. I met a girl I was a year clean and sober sadly she was a hard core alcoholic come to find out. I told her I won't jeopardize my recovery. I said we can just be friends. I told her all about my journey. I told her where I went to detox the program and she wanted to go. I said I just did this chapter and I'll go back and rewalk it. I sais but if you should try to pull me under I will cut you loose my son needs me. So she got help she's now my wife. She's 4 years clean and sober and now a recovery coach at a sober home. I speak up and out and help others online in a support group as well. I just want you to know your music was the domino that triggered my sobriety then hers and now many others... so thank you! So very much and God bless you!
