My grandfather ordered a new 1969 charger when he had a mid life crisis. It has since been passed down to me. It has 82k miles and besides maintenance items it is all original. Every time I drive it I smile. It doesn't handle or stop worth a damn but you always feel like a boss when you roll up next to a prius with the big block mopar rumbling under the hood. I'm so happy that other people enjoy these cars as much as I do.

Second gen Chargers are the most beautiful cars ever made in my opinion. If I could have any car on earth, it would be a '68, with the split grille of a '69, a FUNCTIONING blower, sidepipes and cragar ss wheels. I would name it "General Disarray". :)
John Crapper It's funny, I used to be soley a fan of the '69 model but now, I find myself liking the '68 more and more.
@@BoUrnNe26 I think that's how it goes with a lot of people. I grew up on Dukes of Hazzard, but I too am now solely a 68 guy. My uncle had a 68 as his first car in high school. I want a 68 more than almost any other car. The only car I would ever choose over a 68 is a 1970 Buick GSX with the Stage 1 performance package. That's it.

It's very nice, but I am not sure, what about Ford Mustang 68 and Pontiac Firebird 400 turbo 73. I am not telling that they are better, but they are as good ass the Charger 70. In my opinion.

I would choose this over my dream car anyday. Its a piece of my childhood memory im 23 and enjoy Mopar vehicles but this is on my list.

1.- This 1970 Charger for F&F saga.
2.- 1958 Plymouth Fury for Christine.
3.- 1970 Dodge Challenger for Vanishing Point.
4.- 1976 Ford Falcon XB GT for Mad Max.
5.- 1967 Mustang Shelby GT500 (Eleanor) for Gone for 60 seconds.
6.- 1982 Pontiac Trans Am (two tone black and silver for KARR in Knight Rider).

At the plate it's writed "RealFF4" in FF4 The Charger is destroyed after 5 minutes of using so they didn't supercharged it, and the chargers are getting more rare in this years
One can only hope that one of thr companies that make replicars steps up and makes the '68-70 Chargers.

That's not Dom's Charger...Dom's Original Charger Maximus is a K code '68 fastback ...The car shown in the video is a '70 R/T Daytona that was built as a tribute not a replacement

Pugrug 420 They want you to think that Dom was in a Charger in Tokyo Drift. And maybe the guy even thought it was a Charger. But it wasn't. It was a Plymouth Roadrunner. Which I'm sure you knew, anywho. The Roadrunner is still badass but the Charger is so much better.
And I Hate Myself I'd take that roadrunner over the charger any day. That thing was a beauty

what i gotta give the Fast and Furious franchise credit for is they are going to be on their 9th movie and each one has been entertaining, even at the series lows they are still entertaining, most franchises fizzle out on the 3rd, somtimes the 2nd.

If I had 85k I’d buy a Charger that’s actually built. Though I love Dom’s Charger I’d prefer one with a functional blower so I can hear that oh so sweet supercharger whine followed by the kickass rumble that classic muscle cars are known for. I’ll stick with my ‘68 Charger for now though.

Looks nice and all but the supercharger is fake as shit. Thier was one that was all real it had the real parts and could reach around 250mph in the movie it was just used for pictures and display. but is now siting in some place catching up dust
I've talked to every builder from the fast and furious franchise, Eddie Paul and Dennis McCarthy. One was never built that survived the movie. Check out my furious 7 charger video and Dennis explains it. They always wanted to build Dom's charger with a real blower. Dennis built only one and then production crashed it as soon as it was done
+theAFICIONAUTO I'm sure it was exciting and everyone wanting to 'have a go' with it but with the time/effort/money at stake, I'd recommend having a pro driver handle it and have the 'crew' as passenger. It's like some punks I see who get next year's car model and total it before the day's end. Hang up the keys forever or stick to cars with

Are Charger's about 85.000 dollars or just the one from the movie? because I'm not willing to pay more for a car who appeared in a movie because I don't care, in that case I'd take the Porsche, if both are normal cars, I'll take the Charger.
The last time a charger from the movie was on auction it went for $85k so the value is in screen used. I don't think a Porsche would make laugh as much as this does. A Porsche is fun but I'm pretty sure you'd have a bigger smile on your face in this.

You can get a beautiful charger all day long for 20k
