My contribution to the 2022 Thomann/Harley Benton kit build challenge.
I finished the neck and body in matte clear, then added a gold finish to the top, covered with a gloss clear lacquer.
The headstock was finished with a matte black and fake binding was scraped on the edges with a sharp blade. I then finished the neck with gloss clear lacquer, sanding between coats with scotch Brite.

You did a great job! What is the weight of the guitar? I am
considering buying such a kit, but I don't want to have a guitar that is
too heavy.

Thanks. The guitar is very light. I don't know the exact weight but it's easily the lightest solid body I have, and I have a LOT of guitars!
