I worked 43 years in the sand and gravel industry here in Indiana, I’ve been retired for 5 yrs now, I always like to watch videos like yours, brings back some good and not so great memories! Spent all my years on the crusher/wash plant. I’ve sure changed a lot of crusher jaws!
I like how you blend Work with Fun. Your attitude and demeanor are a model for others to follow. Employees will always accept a positive word from the boss as well, or any praise for a job well done. Fabulous coverage and camera work. I have seen you shred a few tires. Do you also have a tire pile to shred? With rims, lol ?
Nice jaw crusher . I had a small jaw crusher I used to crush broken Antique Brick to use as landscape stone when I had Antique Brick company . Very popular product . I was selling 2 million antique brick per year until I retired and sold the business . Anytime you can recycle a product that normally ends up in a landfill or used to fill in low lands for more apartment complexes or strip malls . Great video and the products y'all are getting out of the crusher are some great stuff . Keep the videos coming .
I always remember in the mid 90', a local big demolition company here in Toulouse has bought its first mobile Concrete Crusher, and I went there to see a demo. Oh Man, what a STRONG Machine it was ! The excavator droped down a 3 m long reinforced concrete beam (20 cm x 20 cm), and that big boy ate it up into 5 mn, spilling out fine gravel ! Unbelievable ! Rock on Bud !
My husband and I have enjoyed watching both of your channels for over a year. He, saddly recently died, but I still watch you especially your nursery channel. I wondered how the front entrances of both places look now? I recall you re-planted the nursery and I thought the re-cycling place at the beginning of spring would love to see an update. I am a small flower farmer so always amazed at your knowledge of plants and interest in keeping your house and nursery always looking beautiful.
Another great video of this part of your operation bro. Had a link to your storm shelter video so will catch up on that at some stage. Safe travels. Ken.
I love how concrete can be crushed back into such great material. That makes amazing road building material because it really packs tight. Jaw crushers are awesome to watch as they just destroy everything that falls in. Awesome work as always, man. Keep it up and try not to get cooked too bad, I’m with you on hoodie season and I’m counting the days until I need one again.
@@TheRealMrDiGG I was kind of sad when I saw your fishing video, bud. You were 30 minutes from where I live, if I had known you were in the basin fishing I would have totally tried to find you just to say I got to meet one of my favorite UA-camrs. Lol.
That crusher is awesome. Years ago, my stepfather was a rock crusher operator in building roads here in Arizona. To me, it was a blast from the past. Thank you for sharing!😊
Im retired now, but i put some material through a jaw crusher and a blow bar crusher . You gotta be so careful with rebar its pretty stressful .Especially if you don't pre munch it with a excavator with a muncher on it. Lots of clips to repair and ive seen new belts get destroyed fast.
Thanks for crushing it with the video! When are you getting your shredder? It’s great that you’re doing so much to try to get the recycling going. Do your best. Keep up the good work..
this heat has just been brutal this year and up here in new jersey we have not seen much rain in the mouth of July we only got 1.50 inches of rain ! But i love your videos Keep them coming and thank you for sharing
We have a local guy that crushes concrete and I have had problems with the demolition material still having a lot of steel left in it . One of our local concrete companies crush their truck left over material and it’s completely clean. I was just wondering if you separate yours?
That's a cool process, and a great business idea charging to take it, crushing it and selling it. 👍🏻👍🏻 Man I'd love to operate one each of the different types of machines you have working the landfill, an excavator, dozer, compactor, loader, haul truck, skid steer, It would be a good time I think.
Concrete is one of the easiest materials to recycle, but always nice to watch it being done regardless. As for what I want to see, more of stuff being shredded when your new waste shredder is operating.
Great content. Should attach some old conveyor belt to those steel plates where crushed product is sorted, less wear and alot less noise, just a thought.
Great footage it always amazes me the power to crush concrete and bricks could watch for hours my son works with a reclamation company much like your selves and scrap metal my prime business for 30 years he started working machines at 8 years old greatly apriciated footage
In FL i worked for a company that took light poles and concrete railroad ties and floor tiles everything everything and recycled it charge to get rid of it they made money three different ways
Really good one we actually the larger concrete crushed that you have there we keep about 200 quarts of firewood on it can’t use the small stuff for like for driveways. It builds up moisture and rots the wood. Thanks for posting it really cool.
on your crusher have you thot about doing a stackers that way it can move it away from there to make bigger piles and that way there's no chance the loader will hit the screener
Excellent...I've used crushed concrete quite a bit when I can get my hands on it, packs great and makes base work easy. I say when I can get it because the big operators call ahead and have the yard reserve it all for them. 🤷
I think you said you weren't turning it back into concrete, just using the broken up old concrete as a filler or base. Awesome! But question, is it not able to be turned back into concrete because it can't be separated into individual components, or because the chemical process that initially occurs to make it into concrete changes it and it can no longer be redone? I hope that made sense. Obviously I don't know much about this end of things or I wouldn't be asking. Thank you for the video, though. 🙂
Nice big John Deere 844k 😍 . I sat in a 544k for years it was badged as a bell 1506e this side of the pond.i miss the better air con. Now in a doosan 320dl I screen compost with a doppstadt 518 lol

you must be a wizard at time management. running that operation and creating YT videos, damn. how do you find time to chill? gotta give some credit on the people that designed that crusher. takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. the forces and wear must be horrendous.
Do you crush asphalt? here in Iowa we call it millings or RAP (Recycled AsPhalt) the BEST use I've seen it used for is to cover gravel roads or parking lots, even on the hottest driest days you'll get almost no dust from driving on it, don't get me wrong there is a tiny amount of dust but in comparison .... call it nothing!!
With the waist concrete what tends to be the most profitable? The concrete cubes or the crushed concrete? I would think the cubes as you don’t have the machinery involved but you do have the cost of forms and labor involved. Safety warnings ugh 😣 who needs that. We need good camera angles at the cost of being less safe haha. 🤣
Crushing concrete, complemented with some "rock" music 😂💪 Interesting to see the workings of the plant. In my view, the jaw crushers appear to be a lot more efficient than the rotating hammer type. We replaced out concrete garden path a few years ago, I took up the concrete with a sledge hammer, then used a club hammer to reduce the size of it down to 25mm minus to reuse as sub base for the new flagstones I laid. Took some time to break up the two tonne of path, but saved me a bunch of money on skip hire and buying in sub base. Time rich, money poor for sure 😂
Nice showing how is done but getting up the jaw crusher and having a go pro but I seen the sign saying do not climb up the machine and for health and safety
My question is, how do you keep it all straight? You must have several really good crews(which means you are a good boss). Nursery, recycling, landfill, sand plant, geez, is there anything you CAN’T do?
