YES James Burton! Met him at a NAMM show in '16 when he was talking with another Telemaster Johnny Hiland. Super nice guy with stories for days and he's really the last of that generation so let's get him on! Great work and thanks for keeping us gear geeks in content!
Kirk Hammett said in recent interview with Gibson that he subscribes to EVERY GUITAR MAGAZINE, he reads them regularly. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to him, he's already got a stack of PG mags!
Always love watching these and all the Rundown this year you guys mentioned were all absolutely awesome (still loved the Jack White one, I couldn't stop laughing after that happened to Bohlinger) and can't wait for who you get next year, this may definitely be a long shot but I would absolutely love to see one of Metallica or even System of a Down if you guys could try for them
Great POST ! Seen Robin Trower many times but in a club Antones Austin Tx about 2004 It was soo loud I had too walk away front center stage , on top of that those Marshalls had EV speakers , you can see EV and there Loud !
I wish you guys were able to catch up with Goose the last time they were in town. I especially wanted to see the bass rig. He's got any entirety new rig and it sounds amazing. I ran into Chris at Dollywood and asked him if they would be able to swing it. I understand that it's not always possible. My 7 year old son and i watch all the rig rundowns and he told me on the ride home "That's the first famous person I've ever met...I'll probably remember this forever!" Thanks for all of your hard work guys!
Hey Vaughn, it's CK with the Rig Rundown team! It was great briefly chatting with you and your son while we waiting in line for the coaster!! Sorry we couldn't pull off the Goose RR but I swear we'll get them next time they play Nashville. Send me an email -- chris@premierguitar.com -- I wanna hook up you & your son with some PG gear!!
Are you kidding?! He'll be so pumped! I got him a Zoom MS-50G multi effect for Christmas and he has gone crazy creating patches. He knows half a dozen chords at the moment and running through a Marshall model with boatloads of octave fuzz and hall reverb has been quite a test of my marriage 😂 He's got the music bug in a big way and his little brother and sister show early signs too. He'll freak out when I tell him you responded on here
Tool was always going to make the top pf the list. Getting them to even appear on camera used to be an impossible task, let alone a detailed rig rundown. Back in the day all we had was a poorly edited grainy video from Dunlop TV and forum rumors, now we have details about Justin's rig that nobody previously knew about
Maybe out of left field but I'm a OG thrash/metal guy and I had an occasion to see Slaughter To Prevail. I had heard them on Sirius and didn't think much of them until I saw them live. Unbelievable live band, different tunings, subs, ultra tight riffing, just a tear your face off live band. Maybe metalcore isn't really on your guy's radar but it's a big part of the metal scene.
This was fun guys! Getting Metallica this year would be sooo great! but also what about trying to get BUSH, I would love to see Gavin Rossdale's setup! anyway, love what you guys do! Happy New Year!
Comment below your favorite 2024 Rundown & your wishlist for 2025 RRs!

Thanks for all the great stuff this year guys. Hope you're all doing well.
Do another one with Uncle Larry.. I learned so much from Tom in that video from 4 years ago. We rewatch it regularly.
Yes please!
I was just showing that video to a friend earlier this week. The EQ pedal demo alone makes it a must watch.
Pleaseee
100 % agree!!!

@26:36 - Mammoth WVH and The Pretenders were the opening bands on the Cincy Foo Fighters show back in July

Thanks for the heads up, we'll definitely keep them in mind!
You guys should come to Louisville Kentucky for the Louder Than Life Festival and do multiple rundowns!! Its usually in September
Festivals are impossible because changeover is quick and done right in front of a very impatient crowd
Thanks for all the great rundowns. Can't wait to see what y'all bring us next year.
Pearl Jam and Metallica would both be amazing. Fingers crossed!
Thanks! We're working on it!
Need the rest of the Foo Fighters. There’s 3 more rigs in that band to cover 🤟🏼🤟🏼
I would love to see a Crobot rundown
Updated King Buffalo!!
Daniel Donato rig rundown this coming year!
Do the Adam Jones Rig Rundown

@@premierguitar oh crap, I actually saw this one but I guess I meant a new one with Gavin himself interviewed
Helms Alee!!!
That Perry Bean & Chris Kies make me sweat…such handsome BOIS!?!?! 🙌
Guys! What about Bring Me The Horizon or Bruno Mars?
Gizz is bigger than PG
What’s funny to me is for someone who speaks so highly of D’Addario Strings you’d think that he would pronounce the company’s name right 🤦🏼♂️
Please like if you like to play guitar.
