    I own a 68 C10 and my truck is leaning towards the driver side a little. Looks un level. I also have a leaking steering box. The mechanic shops here are full till the beginning of the year. I was afraid of doing the repairs on my own because I have none of the big tools to do it myself. You made it look easy.

    did you have caster issues when you paired the cpp upper control arm with the stock bottom control arm? apparently the upper cpp control arms are make shorter and the lower cpp arms are made longer to compensate. by pairing the cpp upper with the stock lower, would you have unwanted postive caster?

    I couldn’t tell but did you use the same bolts to put in the new control arms or did you order new? I’m trying to figure out which ones they are in the lmc catalog

      @@paulkc10 Surprised you dont alread have the Wilwood D52 dual piston calipers, they come with pads for just $300 on Amazon. Bolt right up, look & perform great.

    Im curious about your pitman arm issue, i am having the same issue with a 1969 C10 I am converting to power steering ( hitting crossmember ) what part number did you end up using to have the shorter one?

    Im attempting to do same.
    Bought a new lower control arm, but the ball joint doesn't fit in the lower spindle hole.
    The new ball joint you listed fits in my spindle, but my shop said it doesn't fit on the lower control arm.
    Does anybody have any ideas?

      He used Eastwood chassis paint I believe on the bigger chassis parts.

    Curious! Why tubular uppers, but no lowers. I know the lowers cost quite a bit more. Just wondered your reasoning!

      Tubular uppers account for the camber change when lowering the truck. Lowers have the same dimensions as stock. I was on a budget so only did the uppers

      It’ll be very similar but the 4wd will make some parts different

      Mine is a 2WD and is already dropped. Just need to fix the same components you did to make it better. I’m also replacing the coil sprigs and shocks. One more question, I’m buying parts from LMC Truck and Brothers, are there better places out there $$$ wise?

      Then it’ll be very similar. Brothers, LMC, etc is all the same stuff just with different stickers on it

    Great video.. I am curious if you had any issues with the oem power steering hoses to the new quick ratio gear box? I'm so close to pulling the trigger on it.

      They’re different size fittings so you can’t use the stock lines.

    Have you tried 15" stock wheels with the CPP drop spindles? Any issue with balljoint hitting the wheel?

      The first one I bought was the completely wrong part. It was for another vehicle.

    Nice work! I am getting ready to do the exact same project. Did you use all CPP products? I was getting ready to order a bunch of stuff but have recently heard a few horror stories about their business practices and products. This has put my project on hold. What is your opinion? Thanks!

      I used CPP upper control arms and steering gearbox. I haven’t had any problem. I ordered from Summit, not through them. Came 2 days later and were in perfect condition. I ordered my gas tank through them directly and took 2.5 months.

      Cost mostly. Also, Uppers correct camber/alignment issues when lowering.

      I just startes my very 1st build on a 65 stepside. Will be taking notes and using some same parts your using also used same ideal for cab lift. But have to come up with different for bed. I have no inside rails and fenders bulge out to left with straps. Keep up the awesome work

      Didn’t give me any trouble. There’s plenty of resistance with the frame even without any weight on it.

      @Rocky P >If your reference is about the lower control arm shaft, the factory OEM were 7/16” U-bolt. The LMC catalog offers the OEM but recommend upgrading to the 1/2” as found on the C20 and heavier. You will have to drill out the frame holes and perhaps the saddles. ASE Master Retired
