Not a bad trip when you catch every species and reel them in one right after the other. Exciting video. Thank you sir!❤ Always lookin forward to what you have planned next.
No one mentioned the rare fog bow in the background. I have never seen one and had to Google what it was. While not super rare, they are usually only seen in valleys, on mountains or from planes.
When i first started using bait caster with clickers, I had the same trouble you're referring too missing fish or them dropping it whatever happens there. Then i started using them with my drag instead of free spool with them on. It helped me a lot with hookups. Pretty much the same way you do your carp rigs. Truthfully you've probably tried this. I know for day fishing the clickers isn't as important unless your in this type fishing situation your doing today. But night fishing blacked out on the bank they help me alot until i get the flashlight cut on. I've rambled enough time to enjoy this great video you made for us. Thanks for another great high quality video.
"...no no no...your other left, fish!!..." hahaha ! Always a good time watching your vids - Rainy Saturday morning here and a perfect time to kick back and relax. Thanks man
Just watched the rest of the vid today - what an awesome morning's fishing! So many fish and four buffalo to boot. I like the concept of more combination/multi-species videos in future too.
Me and the wife are just finishing our week down here in Tennessee today. The fishing was extremely tough. Getting bait was very difficult. Couldn't find any skipjack or white bass the whole week. Had to use bluegill, shad, drum, crappie, and largemouth caught from the AirBnB's boat dock as well as some carp I brought with us. The drum proved to be the best. Water clarity was starting to improve today. The weather and scenery was outstanding though. The fall colors are in full force.
All I do is buffalo and carp fish . The best months are October and November for sure . We use baitcasters and we have to jerk at them the buffalo usually won't run like a yellow . They pull on the line a lot more and don't rip it usually . You have a great spot man just showing up and not pre baiting and catching them like that . Buffalo are the most fun ever good video
Thanks for yet another great video! You make carp fishing look like a lot of fun. I have only ever caught 1 carp before and i was so young that i hardly remember it. Also, i finally got a spool of 2lb test for my panfish rod. The 4lb test worked great, but you mentioned that strikes could potentially happen more often with 2lb test so i figured i would switch it out. I also have been thinking about how you could rig up the new kayak and i was wandering if there is anyway you could get the hobie H bars to work on it so you could clamp your holders to it. I wish i could put rails or bars going up the sides of my kayak, but i cant seem to find anything that would work
Thanks Cody! Hope the 2lb line works well for you. I will definitely look into mounting some h rails to the Bonafide if it is possible to do it securely.
@KayakCatfish oh lord. I wasnt even thinking about the bonafide. I was thinking more of the new hobie that you got. However, with the bonafide i didnt look that thing up until recently and holy cow! That thing is extremely nice! I really like how it is made!
I mowed professionally for 15 years. A lot of people will do two-three laps blowing grass inwards. Before doing stripes. Gives them a turning area to where they aren’t trying to spin on a dime. A zero turn really isn’t a zero turn unless you wanna tear patches in the yard after a while.
They are lowering the pool for winter. When they do that, it affects the bite. You may want to try dragging some flats, sandbars/islands, and coves. I haven't done too well on suspended rigs on the main channel.
At the end when it slowed down its because those buffalo started rooting the yellows out happens all the time in nc . When the yellows stop the buffs are moving in .
Hey Justin love your channel! Big Fan of yours! Question: Are you able to catch Carp in a canal that has quite a bit of current? If so how would you be able to hold your bait on the feeder? I see lots of Carp but the current is really strong… Thanks Buddy
I have never tried fishing for them in fast current. I doubt the pack bait would stay on long though. I would probably just try worms or corn on the hook without the pack bait.
Im in PA and I've fished every day this week and only caught 1 carp. It's been a super slow bite right now. Waters cooled down drastically over the past 2 weeks.
I ultra light fish but i catch big fish when i do that cuz i cant help but testing the limits…its fair to say im not gentle with my rods/reels 😅😂 also when you were talking about how they feel the pressure thats why i keep my line loose and gets me more hookups but that just might be the carp in my area as they spook easy
What kind of kayak do you use? I’m looking to build a catfishing set up myself, but looking for something very stable that can handle pulling blues and flatheads in without turning the kayak over.
Yes I had a 6'9 rod panfish replaced and it come in with that new and improved handle and hated it. I wrote customer service and the told me that they had got a lot of complaints from fishermen about the new handle. I asked was their anyway to get an old style handle and was told no. Ask if they were going back to the old style handle and was told no again that the old one cost more. I told her I would have paid extra for the old style handle.
hey Justin. I am from SC I live about 40 min from lake moultrie and you inspired to kayak catfish and lake moultrie it has big catfish and I have 100LB fishing line on my cat rods and I have not yet get one do you think 100lb is to much. please let me know.
That carp got you real good could tell you were have a hard time breathing much less trying to talk and could still tell you were in pain when you picked it up.
I feel you there with the animals yes people who are homeless pull up my heartstrings but they also kind of did something to put them into that situation 90% of the time an animal did not ask for the situation they're in
So apparently my wife can’t stand your voice so me not being able to finish ur videos😭😭 and ur name to her is fisherman 😂 Been watching ur videos for several years now keep it up.
How do you never catch turtles? Unfortunately, I catch as many big softshell turtles or snappers as carp, buffalo, or cats when I fish with cut bait or hair rigs
Can't remember you running out of packbait before that Panko is the real deal. From now on I would at least do at least 50% Panko to use up the soybean meal. The male entertainment might not be so good if she jumped on it and missed and bent it real bad or thought it was a chew toy and had raw places on it.
hey justin will you do a favor for me will you check out bluegabe check out his skiperville AL CATfish trip he also has salt water trips you may would like to hookup with do some FL SALTWATER FISHING OR CATFISHING HE HAS A FISHING CAMP IN SOUTH GA
So I'm from Louisiana and we have a spot that produces a lot of money a lot of catfish that we go fish off off the bank or you can launch a kayak there if you ever come down here again to Saint Bernard parish Louisiana I could put you on some f****** fish bro like will catch 78340 lb fish each especially if we get in a kayak I don't have the money to get a kayak right now but when I do I will be going over there in a kayak but the sale cats only come around whenever the water is a little salty in the river we catch redfish I caught a f****** flounder there my friend called a sheepshead and my cousin caught a croaker and so did I but Mom was a little bigger
Justin, you need to do a fishing trip on a UA-cam live stream. This way we can actually talk back to you haha

Great day, Justin! I love those kind of days.
No one mentioned the rare fog bow in the background. I have never seen one and had to Google what it was. While not super rare, they are usually only seen in valleys, on mountains or from planes.
I didn’t even notice it
@@KayakCatfish I had never seen one. I thought it was neat. Thanks for the content.
I did notice it too! It was super awesome, looked almost like a white rainbow with fog around it. It was there for a decent amount of time as well.
Man, if she's that allergic to cats, she wouldn't let it lay in her lap on the porch. Let that poor cat stay in the house.
@@miked.4939 what does a cat have to do with a fog bow lol

Hey buddy I'm in the nursing home rehab now keep prayers coming
Glad you are out of the hospital. Hope your rehab goes well.
Can't wait for the action! I love the fog bow! I love it when the water is like that.... smoke on the water.
Thanks Teri!
At least you came out of it with a new product idea. The Kayak Catfish carp fishing cup available at Catfish Sumo.
Awesome day Justin! That looked like an absolute blast reeling in all those big fish! Great job and great video. Tell Barbara I said hey next time. 😂
Beautiful day so wonderful. Enjoy and keep it up 🎉🦈🐟
What a beautiful view right there where you are sitting.
New merch!!! Kayak Catfish Carp Cups!!!!!
Hey Justin. Hope all is well. Great job this summer. Looking forward to catching up on your videos
Thanks Matt! Hope you are doing well. Thank you for continuing to be a channel member.

I pre-tie my rigs also. I also do everything at the kitchen table hahaha.

Catfish don’t seem to be line shy. I don’t the 100lb line is your issue.
ASA you released that carp, your third pole was tapped. I really thought it was going down.
That carp got you real good could tell you were have a hard time breathing much less trying to talk and could still tell you were in pain when you picked it up.
Probably bad karma coming back to haunt me lol
The fish thought you was trying to play basketball. Just putting ball in the net!
What size hook do you use for carp
Number 6 size
Its always something when u fish at this spot remember when they cut all those trees lol
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I challenge you to try just nightcrawlers and hotdogs for cats lol for the 1st 2 hours on your next trip
I cleaned up my yard this past weekend - came home from work on Monday and the lawn was full of leaves again - like I didn't do anything

Justin just wanted to ask if you are doing any night fishing anymore
No, I haven’t done a night trip in forever.
So apparently my wife can’t stand your voice so me not being able to finish ur videos😭😭 and ur name to her is fisherman 😂
Been watching ur videos for several years now keep it up.
And also I live on Cherokee lake and have struggled catching blues down here. We got a lot of flatheads tho. Any tips
I have struggled with the cats too
Good
Just think how big the carps were on the Mississippi eating all that corn.
I bet there are some monster carp down there
That's funny my mom's name is Barbara 😂😂😂
How do you never catch turtles? Unfortunately, I catch as many big softshell turtles or snappers as carp, buffalo, or cats when I fish with cut bait or hair rigs
I usually catch a couple turtles on just about every trip
Does the cat have a name?
Midnight

Justin, we have a hard time seeing your poles to see if you're getting any bites when you're leaning forward.
Sorry. It’s hard to sit in the same position for four straight hours.
@@KayakCatfish, I get it. I'm just giving you a hard time. Enjoy the videos. You had me rolling about the cat and then Barbra. 😂😂😂

You finally use up that meal stuff or just give up on it and use the panko, the old faithful .
I still have some of it. Just went back to the panko so I can catch more fish lol

Click bait warning! “4 hours of fishing”, but it’s only 3:58:44 😮😂
Beautiful scenic conversational amazing 4 hours of fishing. You mean catching. Fishing is fun all of it. Keep it up 🥇🐠
I'm right here on the chest.....
👀
Don't tell the bass fisherman you caught carp; tell them you caught some golden bass.
Haha! I like it
