I second this. I love my g7. Its powerful enough to take on any task/multitask. Screen is super bright to use in direct sunlight. Sound is super loud and great quality. And if you put it down on certain surfaces it will get even louder! Camera quality is great and superbright mode makes pics in dark light magically bright! Battery life is very good too I get 5 hours of continuous use (screen on 5hrs straight) which is great imo. It easily lasta the whole day under normal conditions overall the g7 is an under rated phone. Samsung's galaxy is over rated imo. Although galaxy is a great phone too I find g7 superior in many ways. Eapecially google assistant button vs the bixby button lol

Maybe do a charging speed test with the V30 on Quick Charge 3.0 wall adapter versus on a quick charge 4.0 adapter?? (you can buy the Razer phone quick charge 4+ wall adapter separately on Amazon). It will end the rumors once and for all and you can even include the LG G7 just to show the difference between what's bundled.

New sub here! Loving your reviews now that I discovered your channel! Torn between G7 and S9+ for camera, video recording, and speakers so this test at least proves G7 is much louder than other phones. I also tested in store against iPhone XS, XS Max, and S9+ and it was louder for sure. Thanks Max!
I own the note 9 and my friends g7 blows it out of the water especially when placed on a flat hard surface! Atmos still didn't come close but in saying that when watching Netflix or a movie the n9 does sound great due to the front facing stereo speakers. With decent headphones the LG trumps it again and the dts x sounds awesome when phones are plugged in! Even when using the jack as an aux output to a sound system the LG is much better and cleaner but that could come down to its higher quality dac. Audio department LG wins hands down and they have done a great job but i still love my note 9 ✌
Very fast, I am going to review it soon but it is awesome phone. UI and CPU cooler work well not best camera but has still good wide angle camera. But v40 I like a lot more.

I have note 9 and lg g7 thinq. I like em both. The lg mite be a lil louder but the 9 has a better stereo sound. I know one thing for sure th lg is alot less heavy.
If you are comparing speakers I highly recomend choosing a song that has a full bodied sound all the way through. Not shitting on your music taste btw I am just saying maybe a louder song or sound would work better.

Still have the LG V40 speaker gets really loud LG on the Audio department hands down is ahead of the Note 9 but Note 9 not a slouch on the Audio dept as well AKG tuned and Dolby Atmos
So volume is everything because you judged audio based on their ability to drive higher volumes. I wished if you could compare dynamic range,clarity,bass,as well but clearly it seems loudness is the only benchmark to judge speakers.It's so one sided of you.Try learning about audio before reviewing them. Still I'm happy and impressed that you did this because nobody cares to go through audio,headphones in a phone nowadays but you do so I say kudos to you.
The past 6 years, all 3 LG phones had some defect. G2 was the best but G4 and G6 were trash ass phones. My G6 the speaker phone has been broke for over a year due to the motherboard, headphone Jack pops the headphone out after you insert it and the sim tray broke off inside the phone. Good thing I have a 2 year warranty from LG. Stay away from LG. Just Purchased the Note 9 and its just a beast of a phone.
guys. i own lg g7 thinQ and asus zenfon 5z. after compare this 2 device in speaker and headphone sound asus zenfone 5z sound more louder and punchy bass on headphone. on speaker this 2 device sound quality and loudness almost the same level. try it your self.
You didn't see the difference bc the DAC doesn't change the color temperature or dynamic range but only the focus is better. You may feel like it gives a better Pikeh on the V40, but you have to look carefully at the sound. I hope it made no sense ;)

I just picked up the V30 yesterday after preordering the 64gb Pixel 3. This phone is freaking perfect. Smokes all the phones you just tested in battery life and the size is just right. I really love the sensors used on the V40 but LG ruined it by increasing the size and not including a larger battery.

OK just think about how stupid it is to demonstrate this on a video where every viewer can only hear the sound through the device, pc or TV that they're watching it on. 🤣 And some fools then try to decide what's better. All the speakers are pretty good but loud doesn't mean quality. Having listened to them all in real life, I think the Note, once you remember to have your dolby atmos enabled, along with the LG G7, both have the richest highest quality sound of all of them. These videos are pointless, go to a store and listen to the actual speakers, don't listen to all of them on the SAME damn speaker.

Note9 has better overall quality but V40 is good for using as outdoor speaker.
