Brian Deegan's Pro Motocross & Supercross Career

- This is a motocross highlights video of Brian Deegan's Pro Motocross & Supercross Career. This video shows every time Brian Deegan finished inside of the top 5 in both Supercross and Pro motocross. Watch Deegan mix it up with Ricky Carmichael, Kevin Windham, Tim Ferry, Nathan Ramsey, Mickael Pichon, and many other great riders. Now that Dangerboy Deegan has burst onto the scene I thought it would be cool to look back on his dads career. Brian Deegan was often the top privateer in 125 Supercross, even winning a main event in 1997. Many forget that Brian Deegan was a talent of this sport long before the Metal Mulisha and Freestyle Motocross. This vid was fun to edit as I didn't appreciate just how good Brian was when it came to racing Motocross. Enjoy! #thedeegans #motocross #supercross

I wonder what Deegan could've done racing wise if he had everything he's been able to give his son, obviously he made his own way but man on his day he was quick.
@@jaysmokey just ridin dirt bikes and having fun
He didn't go far in Supercross not because he had a lack of opportunities. He didn't make it far in Supercross because the AMA already kinda didn't like him. Then he ghost rode his bike in his first win and then proceeded to go on national television and state how he "kicked everyone's azz". And later he told Mitch Peyton to go F himself. After that the factory teams and the AMA didn't want to mess with him.
@@worldssickestmedia2713 what an absolute badass. The General on top!!!
What's crazy is SX hasn't returned to the LA coliseum in 25yrs. *Brian Deegan* wins *97* the year before last *98* we have a race there & *Haiden Deegan* is going to be racing the first year back (except it's SMX)
It’s coming back this year
@@ONKINGDAVIDthat’s what he’s saying lol
@@ONKINGDAVID Did you read my comment?
I remember him being a privateer at unadilla, he gave me his bieffe jersey after a race. . Been a fan since. Maybe this was 96-98?
Sweet video, love the Deegans
Bro this was awesome I’ve never seen any of Deegans racing except the ghost riding incident. I heard an interview he said the bike was basically all stock he bought from the shop. Crazy ! That can’t be done in modern racing today! 😮
I was at Troy Ohio in 97! It was so hot! Deegan was ripping!!!
Me to,miss that track
@@robertlawler1387 it wasn’t really good for watching because it was so flat! It was the closest track to Tennessee at the time so we went every year and I miss it also!
man i found kenworthys 2 years after that race. that place was the best time ever
Like Father like Son. Both are not afraid to SEND IT !!!
When 2 strokes ruled!
Bit like when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
As cool as ghosting his bike over the finish line is 😂
Its a good job it made no contact with anyone else 😅
lol... there was no one ahead of him, Deegan crossed the finish line in First Place, who do you think the bike was going to hit... come on man, think for a second before typing.
@Traveler think for a second?
Don't get me wrong it's probably something ide do if I won a race .
As much as I don't want to argue have you ever watched a sx race ? They are pretty compact . Irrelevant of which he wins or not there will be lappers marshels camera crew etc .
Like I said ide probs have done something similar 😆
@@kylereece575 yes, watch all the SX races you want, the Finish line is far enough away from hitting anyone... try harder pal...
@@traveler142 except the people standing near the track like this bloke… 6:28
@@Kalus_Saxon no no he doesn't count .... 😂
thank you for this awesome video awesome !
No Problem!
This is a good 🤙🏼
Fair play as far as I can see brisn was battling with the big dogs
Legal 🤘
I hope Deegan Jr. will not let you down).
I think deegan is on a 450 this weekend based off his mechanic instagram
Hope you joking. He wont even make the main in a class with more than 5 fast riders..
@@359Joey are you sure about that...
@Traveler No but can guarantee he won't be top ten if it happens.Wanna bet?
@@359Joey you people will never learn.
@Traveler 250 class doesn't compare to 450;especially this year. The kid is doing good but cmon,he will get annihilated in the big boy class.Hes lucky all the fast guys in 250 are hurt right now,or he'd be closer to 10th place rider.
First👍
Do a nick nac paddy back🤡

Very inconsistent. I would love to see some of those races. Did he always ride a Suzuki?
@@iceKOId was a different time the inconsistency with bike problems or crashes & bad starts etc. I just put them up to compare how his son does & his son did better obviously this season
A joke !!
Does he really warrant this? I mean there are plenty of talented guys who have done more
i figured since his son is doing so well it would be cool to take a look at his career
True, but who's got possibly the most popular person in the world of dirtbike racing as a son? And also there is their social media platform, which has a lot of followers. If you're looking to get views who else better to choose as the subject of the video? We know as soon as ppl see the title they're going to watch it.
Are you forgetting deegan was one of the godfathers of freestyle mx?
@@bobdillon2642 except that the video is about his sx and mx career, not his life story.
How is it possible to watch this video and get offended. You have to be a hater.
used to look up to the dude as a kid. became an adult and I hate him lmfao.
How can you hate someone that you’ve never met in real life?
My teachers wouldn’t let me wear metal Mulisha. They said it had hidden Nazi symbolism
@@iceKOIdlol that was total bullshit
