  • Hey! Welcome to the newest video. Sorry it took a while to upload. But it was first trying to edit the video, but failed at it, so decided to cut out a part instead, with company names and, vehicle registry numbers. If I had a proper video editing program I'd put in more work, but they cost so much. Anyway!
Like, Subscribe and Comment on my videos! I would appreciate that :) Enjoy!

So two things. Yes I had the tram behind me.
And second. The video ends abruptly because I cut out a 2 minute segment, where I show the truck. But I failed in my video editing to blur out logos and such so I decided to just end it there!

Super video. Fajnie pooglądać nagranie z jazdy po mieście , a nie tylko trasy po między miastami. Byłem 2 lata temu w Oslo . Ładne miasto . Pozdrawiam z Krakowa .

    Hei
    Great videos!!!
I have question for you if is ok
I moved in norway couple of months ago and i am thinking about taking driving license categorie C , but i am not sure how expensive it is.
Can you tell me total price and little bit about that how that goes here in norway!
I live in Slemmestad 10 km from Asker
    Thanks

      Hello. Thanks for watching.
First, welcome to Norway! I hope you will like this country :)
Be sure to watch both options for taking a license in Norway!
      Option 1:
Taking license in "C" in Norway is expensive in private schools!
Depending on your skill level too it could become really expensive. Here in Norway, you aren't allowed to continue to say "Trinn 2" if your instructor doesn't deem you good enough. So you will have to calculate the total expense depending on how many "Kjøretimer" (Driving Lessons) you personally will need. But the mandatory cost that you cannot go around is a minimum of 37 500 NOK.
I would guess if your skill level is average that you would have to pay a total of: 61 700 NOK. That was with 16 driving lessons with instructor. A really average number, you might do better or worse!
You also have to add the cost at Statens Vegvesen, the governmental agency that issue the driver license tests, both theory and practical exams. The cost if you pass the first time is:
620 kr for theory, and 1070 for the practical driving test! If you fail the theory exam you have to wait 2 weeks to take it again. If you fail the driving exam you have to wait 4 weeks to take it again. This also applies to Option 2!
      Option 2:
This requires you to understand Norwegian on a pretty decent level.
This option is almost 100% free! And you also get CE, and if you really want to you get D and DE too (bus)! Plus you get forklift license T1,T2,T3 and T4! And also you get ADR! Which is hazardous goods! You have to buy the books, and pay the test fees at Statens Vegvesen! Total of 4000ish if you pass everything the 1st time.
You can apply for something called " 19 ukers yrkessjåførkurs" a basic test, if you didn't understand what that meant this option could be difficult for you to fulfill.
But its something you can apply for 2 times a year, usually the application period ends June 1st for the class that begin in August, and the other is either December 1st, or something like 14th of December for the class that start in January.
The closest school like this is Hønefoss Videregående Skole (this is the school I myself went to), I suggest if you want this you contact Hønefoss Videregående by phone, or go there personally and talk to someone!
Good luck! I suggest you invest time to learn Norwegian, it will ensure you are treated better when you finally have a license and is looking for a job!

Martin's World thanks a lot for your time.

Hi. Have you already registered your driving license? In Poland, the cat. C license is about 12 000 NOK, together with a theoretical and practical exam, 30 hours of driving. There are schools where you can pass exam in English.

The CE driving license category, or above 12 tonnes, is the cost of 6 000 NOK for 25 hours of driving with a practical exam.

Sorry, been real busy lately. The price is different but the mandatory 30 hours is the same in all of EU. But I think you can do the same here, in Norway at Statens Vegvesen, they can send a examiner that will speak English. The total cost in Norway is as you might guess a lot more than 12000 and 6000 NOK. More like 120 000 NOK total.
I'm no longer driving a truck though. I went back to work as a chemist which I have University degrees in as well.
