It's Cyberpunk. You are supposed to hate the ending :D Kinda at least.. there is never a real true happy ever after.. I kinda like that even.. To me the happiest ending in the Nomad one..
I think its pretty obvious that somewhere during development when they got Keanu on the hook. They drastically altered both the story and game. Remember this was originally billed as an RPG. Not an action adventure. Also I can't help but notice that the gunplay seems to lack any real challenge. Slow down time and click on heads to win.
