i feel like day 1 he came back home and wife beat the hell out of him so he came back day 2 and did the job done "right" lmao
My first thought lol he was way to happy when he heard the straight pipe FROM THE BACK 🤣🤣🤣 we all know how much louder that is then in the cab
Flowmaster really cleaned it up! Option A had a nice pop to it but I can guarantee from in the cab it would drone and drive you crazy and sound bad under throttle. B was a good balance for a very nice daily!
Straight pipe with a resonator would be better
@@Dabbin916why would it be better? Do resonators get rid of drone?
@@jonahevers9371 yes they do
Absolutely 👍
I had a 05 colorado 5 cylinder. Long tube header, high flow cat, and a cherry bomb extreme single in dual out and ran dual exhaust like the single factory was. Sounded like a viper! Lol
Straight pipe sounded amazing really. Those inline 5's sound pretty good I gotta admit.
Cap
@@arturos.l.2248 no cap
@@lucid523 5 cylinder sounds like ass
Sorry I can't see putting 2 mufflers on. I would have only put one on and probably the flow fx.
I have to disagree with the majority here. Straight pipe sounds better with the pops and burbles .
Option A all the way
he should've kept it stock if it was too damn loud. 1:40
Shouldve been just the flowfx. Would have been a good mix between sound and volume
Option B was defentily more cleaner than option A, so will go for the option B because of the much cleaner sound than option A
Option A sound more rugged I want that
I have an 05 with a JTR header and full actual straight pipe, no cats or muffler, honestly quite at idle but pushing over 3k plus, it’s like full v10 race car sound lol I love it but to each their own!
Post a video
1 order of loud rice and a side shuu rice!
I like option A. I like the snarl from the freeflow inline 5...
Or a single 50 series flowmaster
Take the 40 series off and it’ll be perfect
A...WHY NOT FX ONLY!!
I did a dual outlet Flowmaster Super 44 on a GMC Canyon I had. Wasn't too loud. A resonator with the straight pipes would have been good I think.
Nice to see 2 mufflers inline. I plan to try two turbo tubes in a resonator position (Walker Royal Scots new old stock) side by side after a flowmaster single in dual out.
Wasnt even loud the first time 😂😂😂
Colorados are the 🍋
Sounds like the very first viper when it came out.
I like the crackles and pops my stock exhaust makes so id have to go with the 1st setup with dual tips
I like the tweety bird sticker on the back
I like B it sounds cleaner. Where are y’all in Tennessee?
Option A!!!!
Option b then just need some bashed out high flow cats welded in with someone aftermarket header extractors 👌. Stuff the EPA. Down her in Australia all my cars I have cut out the cats and have welded in straight pipes in there place and have also done custom exhaust systems
Flowmaster is the way to go
I would put both on it, as i had on my passat vr5 back in 2016
Option a straight pipe
When I saw those two mufflers stacked up I said he must be an old guy....yep.
Flowmaster 40 series is the best!
Go with B for sure I'd go out have mine done sound great
Bro this is so sick
Is that noise normal? My 04 3.5 has the exact noice, I was told it was chain slack, is that true?
I like the straight pipe better
Option B👍🏾
Thay both sound good. And that's comeimg ford a ford man that's been ford since the day he was born
where did you get the brush guard from?
Option two.
Definitely option B.
B sounds good 👍 👌
A all the way
Its better on the quieter setup. Its right between the crap sound of the 3.5 ecoboost and a audi I5.
I want to hear a catless one so bad
Option b wins this one
A & B for hey still but definitely AAA all the way
option a for sure
That truck is Aids
The straight pipe was good
Option A
What the lift size of that
Bruh I'd def go with A
I like 8t.. 5cyl roars
What a waste of money. What muffler shop would allow this? You either use one muffler or the other. Not both. It will sound fine but either one of them by themselves. SMH!
One is a resonator and the other is to muffle the sound. luxury cars and even Toyotas come with both
@@tempest162 They are both mufflers. One is chambered and one is a straight through design. The problem I have is that when you use a muffler as a resonator you are only making the note quieter to the point where you can't hear anything. A resonator only cancels out certain frequencies that can end up being considered undesirable.. He should have picked a muffler and then bought the proper resonator. This guy should know better. He supposed to be the exhaust expert am I right?
@@ragintaurusmusclemercury7023 he gives them what the customer wants. Not what he thinks they should want.
@@thisguyshorty3554 He leads them along. As long as they pay him he won't say a word. That is not good business. I go to get my work done and I have in my mind what I want so I tell the muffler guy and if he thinks that will not work or that it will not sound good he will tell me and give me options. That is good business. There's a difference between getting returned business because you did a good job and getting returned business to fix a mistake on the same job.
Taurus u can't talk down on Dem like dat cuz u still support dem
They work looks good but that's what happens when you give someone a welder and say have at it.
A got to have it loud
He should have never attached it it sounded perfect before you guys had to fix it
i actually did not know a inline 5 engine existed i thought i was just only a inline 4 and and inline 6 engine i have never seen or heard a truck before with a inline 5 engine it is usually a v6 or a v8 most of the time also i did not know that one of older generations of the Colorado which particular model year had them? just wondering/curious about that also what about one of the older generations of the GMC canyon did it also have a inline 5 engine as well the Colorado?
Its mostly a Volvo thing.
Any year of the first generation Colorado/canyon could be had with a 4 cyl or 5 cyl I believe, with even a small amount coming from the factory with a 5.3 like the full-size trucks could be optioned with.
2004 -2006 had a 3.5 Vortec I5
2007 - 2012 had a 3.7 Vortec I5
Even the Acura had a 5cyl.
The only car that come with a 5 cylinder from Factory today is the audi RS3
Dual on a 5cylender? Not good. Single for sure
Flowmaster
His neighbors should be complaining about his license plate tag instead of his exhaust ..........
Option AAAA
A sound better I got a 2008 Chevy Colorado 3.7 got no converters got headers on it and a Flowmaster 10
Straight pipes obviously
my cats are rusted i cant accelerate correctly engine looses power on freway
Straight pipe sounds better.
Can this guy pick a volume to talk at?
Straight pipe
A sounds better B sounds weak.
I say a straight pipes
🤢🤢🤢🤢🥴
Flowmaster is better
B
That does not sound good…the hole in my muffler sounds better 🤣
Lame..
A
Lol thats so ghetto
too bad it wasn't a Colorado with the 5.3 that 5 cylinder sounds like a fart like a 4 banger and a 6 banger not a fan of loid exhaust on small engines I am a American made V8 fan
A
