Hello everyone! Well we woke up to a new surprise on the property. The dogs were going crazy all night. They kept Roxane and myself up almost all night. The next day, we realized we were missing someone. I was so worried. We did get to finish the build even with having to deal with a trespasser. Thank you all for being here, we appreciate you all! Enjoy.

Please give him food and water even if you keep him separated from the other animals. And yes your rite post on soical media maybe the dog got lost from his owner..
I agree. If he gets hungry enough he may chase thw cats even more to eat them.
Dont overfeed the cats. If food is left out you are calling the raccoons, possums , rats etc...

Roxanne and Anthony I would get in touch with the vets in your area and post something ASAP so if he is lost someone will be looking for him!! If he was dumped take him to a shelter so he doesn't suffer!! God bless these poor animals lost and dumped because people don't care enough to do something that's humane!! Not skinny he looks to be in very good shape. I think he either got dumped or he’s gotten lost. Somebody has taken good care of that dog.

I had a bluetick. She was a true gem. If I lived closer, I'd claim him. ❤ I think it's part of their natural instinct to chase and tree cats.

I really wanted to watch the latest build but....,I can't stand a poor lost dog with no water or food. Wish I could of watched more. Hope the dog gets home safe. Please at least give him some water.😢

Are you guys sure he wasn't dumped. No collar. Maybe take him to the vet and see if he is chipped. Usually hunting dogs are important dogs. So the owners have them chipped. Hopefully ge wasn't dumped
He is a blue tic hound.used for coon an deer hunting, he could have run ten miles from his home. He wasn't dumped. Sometimes their collars can get hung up on fences an pulled off. Should have posted the.first day he wasn't dumped. SEMPER FI
Right anymore most dogs are hunted with GPS tracking collars. They are very valuable. It's odd there is no collar...
I would call the local animal control and tell them to come pick the dog up. I think he just wants to play with the cat, but it's not fair to the cat
Looks Great! TAKE CARE OF PUPPY FEED & WATER AND PUT UP ANNOUNCEMENTS & AT VETS & FEED STORES!! Hound dogs they turn lose to hunt & if they get side tracked (by other dogs, cats etc. They loose their way home)
Check with your Neighbors as well... GOD BLESS YOU ALL
If not food, at least some water??? Post it as soon as possible. Don't wait. The owner may be frantically looking for it.

We know you wouldn't harm someone's animal Anthony, because of the care you give yours. The dog looks healthy, he may be lost. I don't know how many people live around you in your area, maybe ask them. This is a blue tick, they will track for miles.

Hi Ant, sometimes when a pet gets lost, the owner usually call the shelter first to see if their pet in up there.
Post it now ...especially if you aren't going to feed him..

Try posting on lost and found pets in your area. I'm sure someone is looking for him.
I had a Bluetick Hound when I was young teen. He was an awesome guy.
I've always heard of Blue Tick Hounds, but in this desert climate where I live hunting dogs are rare. When I saw him I wondered if that was one.
I believe those hounds are valuable animals. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a reward for this one. It's not unusual for dogs to run away from home around time of the Full Moon. They get on a scent and travel so far they aren't able to find their way back.

Rox you should plant petunia’s in the flower boxes under your windows. They take full sun very well.
I just had to return my neighbor's golden retriever last night. It's the second time he came around our house. He's very big (fat) and strong. He didn't want to get in our truck so I had to put him in my car. The neighbor has been having trouble with his electric fence (he says) but the dog didn't even have the monitor on his collar. It was getting dark so I didn't want to just let him run around. Another neighbor had their dog killed by a car recently. We are rural, but cars do still drive through the neighborhood.

I thought the dog notice should be posted ASAP esp if he will be given only water till he's claimed. I think he is one of those valued blue tick hounds & his owner may be looking for him. He may even be chipped. How'd I do for someone who isn't a big dog-person? 😄 But I pay attention to many vlogs with dogs and may have learned a little. 😝
I am so HAPPY Twister got home safely & I can't blame her (him?) for being so scared to death! I'll bet she had a rough night! She certainly deserves her can, a treat, or a bunch of cuddling by Wyatt. 😍

Love the little awnings you made over the windows! You say you are not an experienced craftsman but you really are so creative e and skilled.
Try calling your local sheriffs office, many times if someone looses, live stock or even wayward hunting dog. I’m sure someone was out training and is missing him. Best of luck

Take it to the shelter if no one responds to the post. He'll be adopted quick. Looks like he's been fixed from the tiny glimpse I got. So he might be chipped too
Adding the board and channel across the front gives your awnings a more finished look! Love the addition. Now window boxes for flowers🌹

Anthony,Roxanne and Wyatt I am so sorry that dog scared all your cats! Take it to a shelter before something happens to the cats or dogs! We live in Ga. and now have animal control in our county. It doesn’t matter tho people still dump their animals out anyway. I also really love your new front porch and the window treatments!

Dogs and cats find places where other animals live. They know it's a safe place. Hounds may look a little dopey and slow but are really very smart and learn quickly. Hope you find his owner. Or someone who wants him.

He said Shadow disappeared two years ago and never came back but Twister did though.
It's a terrible thing. When owners don't take care and have responsibility of their pets to keep them put up and safe. You do a very good job of caring for your animals credit to you for caring.

One great benefit of the window awnings is hailstorm protection for the glass. Good job Anthony, you are becoming quite a skilled craftsman.
Bluetick Coonhound as others have noted. I've spent many years in the woods at night enjoying the sport of "Night Hunts" and even made a Night Champion of a Treeing Walker female NC Daydream Night Lady. Your "trespasser" does seem old enough to be started. Keep in mind that quite often these dogs are started as pups on cats. They don't harm the cats just track and tree them... Could be this dog thinks it's his job to keep your cats up a tree so to speak... Nice looking dog, someone is definitely looking for him. One suggestion would be drive around back roads and look for a jacket or coat on the side of the road. Old coonhunters trick when your dog gets lost is to leave your coat which smells like you by the road at the place you dropped them into the woods and the dog might come back and wait for you there.

I would’ve posted Right away on local Facebook pages about the dog The same day, if you lost your dog I would hope you would also post on the same day. No one can come find him if they don’t know where he’s at.

It's Saturday and it was ready cold today with wind almost all day. But I planted a new flowerbed today. Burned out last year's corn garden. My food plot is the size of 3 of your garden. It's alot of work to prep, but I use ground cover on 2 of the areas so no weeding Ever.
Drive that dog down the road.
