this looks awesome! Love the artwork and characters of these games. I am currently playing final fantasy 6 (for the first time) and 9 (for the first time) and also bought FF7 which I played long ago
I have never played the games. But I love collecting art books, and I am really interested in this. Do you feel it is worth me picking it up even though i have never played any of the games?
It's a little had for me to separate it because I have so many memories of the games. What I can say is I personally love the art in the book and I'm glad that I bought it. I can't really give you a straight answer though.
Hopefully I can give some answers, all of which are not with my own eyes as my copies of archive 1&2 are on their way. It depends on what you want out of it. If you are going for art exclusively, it *might* be worth it. The book also has lore stuff which basically means if you know nothing, it's gonna read like someone was high and wrote down everything they thought of to make a story. If you like the FF games, they are probably more than worth it.
If you just like artbooks but you don't care about the games you might consider buying "The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy" box set (3 books) over the Ultimania Archives. The Sky is just a (really good) collection of drawings by Yoshitaka Amano without any context, while Ultimania is more of a guide to the series with a bunch of art here and there.
Why do you talk like that with your voice? Exhale and present your voice accordingly. Sounds like your holding it in bud. Edit> On that note you should not fear of talking loud. Speaking loud and clear is super important. Conclusion > Good video, you went through every page.
I just bought all three volumes for $60 during black friday. Thank you for the reviews
You're welcome!

I hope you have fun with them! 6 and 7 are probably my favorite games in the series.

Nice
I’m thinking about buying this from Amazon.
This is the one I like the most. Probably because I like the first six games more.
There are two kinds of final fantasy fans. Those who understand that the best final fantasy entries are divisible by 3, and those who don't. ;)

Thanks. I'm normally a soft spoken person. The way I used to record audio probably had an effect on it as well. I'll try to speak louder.
