I have a feeling less people might have missed this question (or spent less time on it) if it was more clear in question 1 that S does not equal 10 at the start of the algorithm instead of 12. The way the question is worded can make it seem that way.
If the question had instead said: "When a output value of S=10 is first reached, P has a output value of... (Answer choice A,B,C,D,E)"
    It would be more clear.
Maybe that's only my impression because I had not yet been exposed to this kind of problem. Maybe the question was interpreted correctly by others in this way more often than not.
I can't really say. Does anyone else have an opinion?

I agree! As soon as i heard the answer I thought "oh, it was that easy". The wording throws off the question but like you said it might be because Im not practiced enough in the ask.
