How to Create Pisanki (Egg Writing) Stylus Tutorial

Fr. Czesław M. Krysa, Rector at St. Casimir's Church in Buffalo, New York welcomes Samantha Michel, a student in the ritual art of Pisanki, (Polish Egg writing) in a step by step tutorial showing and explaining the process. This video is made possible with seed funding from The Permanent Chair of Polish Culture at Canisius College. are the eggs boiled? What is that tool you are using with the candle flame to make divisions?

They can be boiled, or the raw egg blown out, Patricia. Make a whole at either end.
