THIS IS YOUR LIFE - Lynda Bellingham, actress, was surprised by Michael Aspel on the set of the television sitcom Second Thoughts, at London Weekend Television's South Bank studios.
Lynda has appeared in many theatre, film and TV roles, including the television drama series All Creatures Great and Small. She is fondly remembered as the head of the family in the Oxo television adverts during the 1980s.
Lynda Bellingham, OBE (born Meredith Lee Hughes; 31 May 1948 - 19 October 2014) was a Canadian-born English actress, broadcaster and author, who starred in the long-running series of "Oxo Family" British TV adverts between 1983 and 1999, the drama series All Creatures Great and Small, the science-fiction series Doctor Who and in the comedy series Second Thoughts and Faith in the Future. She was a panellist on the ITV lunchtime chat show Loose Women between 2007 and 2011. - Розваги

Her Husband was so insanely jealous of her vivacious personality and her friendships with everyone, you can tell! Sour-faced and aching for an argument when they get home.

I loved Linda for 2 reasons: 1) She always reminded me of my mum in the way she would get so animated recounting even the most humdrum events, and 2) the bravery and humour she displayed during the last few months of her life in 2014 helped me get over a bad bout of depression I was suffering then.
Dear Linda, it's been almost 6 years since you left us. We never met, you never knew me, but I just want to thank you for helping me feel stronger at a very low time in my life. A vivacious energy like yours can never die, so wherever you are now, I'm sure you've improved it.
Her second husband was no better. Took all of her money/ property when she died and gave nothing to her 2 sons
A woman with a natural personality and flair for life. Someone I think everyone would love to know. Down to earth, ordinary with a polished style all her own. Lynda made her mark on earth and she will always be rememberd as a true family favourite. Class, style, talent.
Poor Christopher Biggins must rue the day he introduced her to the vile husband
A beautiful soul and I think much underrated. So much has been learned about the dreadful marriage she had with 'the Italian waiter' and then he last marriage to 'Mr. Spain' and now the nastiness between her sons and their step father. Yet throughout it all she kept us entertained. I recall how very ill she looked on her last appearance on 'Loose Women' and my over-riding thought was, 'Well you'll be at peace soon'. Rest In Peace, sweet lady.
Such a lovely lady, she deserved better.
There does seem to be signs that he was a controlling and jealous husband. Because he is not the centre of attention he seems to looks angry constantly. She is definitely nervous, she keeps wringing her hands, you can see Lynda keeps grabbing his hand and her eyes keep darting back to him like a nervous kitten to make sure he is not being left out. She even mentions the problems in later interview and her book.
When in a controlling relationship you stay with them, even when they are abusive because you do love them and forgive them each time. They make you feel you are useless and cannot live without them and it takes your last ounce of strength to realise there is a problem and get out of the relationship.
Linda was a stronger person than she realised and I am happy in the end she managed to end their relationship and move on R.I.P Lynda Bellingham, you will be sadly missed..

I only read books when on holiday I read, Linda's book , there is something I'm dying to tell you, I was in tears while reader her autobiography , I've had cancer, and fortunate, that 12 years later I'm doing ok, while reading the book there were parts of the story, where i thought had I been her and have given up the treatment, at certain stages, of her cancer, it was really a sad book , she was a very brave lady, and her book was very honest and accurate, about the treatment, she went through, she had lousy taste in men, looking at that nasty man her husband, and sadly, she accidentally disinherited, her sons, but she came across, as a really nice person
Lynda was a much loved actress and later this show proves what a great actress she was everyone in the uk knows her and there was a lot of loved and sadness when she died a total one off i remember her laugh and how she loved to joke she was one hella va good actress too rip my dear . we love you .

@@erniescullion8452 During the marriage he hit her quite a few times - especially during the OXO ads..... they divorced about 1996 but didn't leave her alone and an order was made against him about 2000.

He always said he would refuse because he didn't want to be seen on television while they introduced my previous lovers. I tried to explain it was not quite like that. Luckily, when it happened in 1993, my mum helped organise the guest list.
When I sat next to Nunzio in the studio, I could feel the tension emanating from him. This was going to be a nightmare. If anyone came on that I had slept with, what was I going to do? Michael Aspel said years later that he'd never seen a man so like a coiled spring. People phoned in asking why my husband never smiled.

Not a very comfortable watch. What should have been a joyous celebration of her life and career looked very awkward and strained at times. She deserved so much better.

Unfortunately her next partner was also an arsehole. When she died she left everything to him and asked that he look after her boys - instead, he went and blew all her money on fast cars and other luxuries. Sometimes, nice people just seem to have no luck with their love lives

The marriage to this guy was a disaster. He oozes jealousy, yet he is nothing and has nothing. The only man who truly loved her was Michael. There were thousands of men that worshipped her, including me. Her openness is transparently obvious in this video. Cancer takes many prematurely, my late partner for one. Linda's infectious personality radiated from the screen, whether it be Bisto or a sitcom, she shone like the star she was. May she rest in peace.
Michael wanted one thing only, to use her so he could get into the like light, since Linda passed away, he has cheated her son's out of money, and treated them horribly, her son's were her world, no way would she have not providing for them in her will.

Randomly came across this. As I was watching I could see the way her husband was looking at her when scenes with men were played and I thought he looks very jealous and when she was talking he was looking at her very sternly as if to control her answers. I thought I wonder if he beat her. I looked it up and lo and bahold he beat and abused her throughout their marriage. He probably gave her a hiding when they got home after this. What a scumbag. He should be beaten.
I watched this on the night it was shown and i thought the same and my wife did. I am not to shure but i think there marriage did not last long after this. But so sad that this beautiful lady was taken so early in her life.

Love Linda just watching Faith in the Future so funny , she was a very talented actress xx Horrible Husband , I had 1 like that , jealousy and bitchy all the time , and I over compensated like she is doing , so he doesnt get into a mood !!
Husband clearly not getting all the attention he thinks he deserves. Transpires he was not a pleasant man behind closed doors. She didn't seem to choose well with her latest husband according to her sons.

Talk about a face like thunder, wonder how he behaved when they got home after her getting all that attention? his sons should have nothing to do with him but I understand they still do.
