Love it--I've been sewing on pockets/panels for quite a while but really like this idea! Can you do a quick tutorial on how to sew the pockets/panels/triangles for a small wall hanging that will be placed on point on the wall?
This looks like a great alternative to adding a hanging sleeve. Does it work well for hanging larger quilts? I am getting ready to bind a 60 x 60 but I wasn't sure if I should try this method on something that large. Thanks for all the tutorials! They are always very clear and useful.

As long as you have the whole top filled with the triangles it will work

Sew them on before the binding :)
Does the rod then just rest on top of the two nails?
