Oh definitely! Some of the unit songs were my favorites as it looks like a lot of other Atinys too. I would absolutely LOVE member mixtapes and more duos to see them try out even more and hopefully seeing the amount of love they’re getting for trying out more stuff like this will add to the possibility in the future 👏🏼😊
This album absolutely won my heart 💘 We got a Latin song, another beautiful synthpop song, another sweet song for atiny😭, RAPPER SEONGHWA, a long awaited r&b song, another song produced by Mingi😭, and a beautiful ballad, that Jongho loves to sing so much😭
no i definitely feel the same way about it's you it's hands down my fav on the album. pop+r&b is my favourite style from any group and it's no different for ateez like most of my favourites from them have r&b influence; it's just so good! and getting this sensual sexy grown r&b vibes song from this trio is such a treat like i really hope they do more in the future! plus my main man wooyoung getting that high note near the end??? yes. this album was so good!!! it's not my fav overall but it's so special bc they all got to shine so much and they all wrote and tried different things and i'm just so proud of them 💖

The vocals throughout this whole album were just top tier as usual but I feel like every person just got to showcase so much and I love that and for sure wanna hear more stuff like that too.

Honestly I’ve come to love just ATEEZ writing style as a whole but Mingi specifically I feel like doesn’t get enough credit or notice with how much he’s improved but also just naturally a songwriter and how honestly he writes is why I love it so much. He’s someone I definitely can relate to pretty much everything he writes even if it’s in my own way and that speaks to someone’s artistry so much. Can never speak enough about how great they are. This whole album was just put together so well 👏🏼😊 and yeah I already know I’m not ready for any of these MVs 🙃

There is a lot I absolutely love about Ateez, but one thing I absolutely LOVE about their music and their voices is how they experiment! It feels like a lot of their songs are not made just to be a radio hit, but to be a song with meaning, with purpose! I love that so much
Oh 100% agree and that’s something I’ve always loved about ATEEZ and what drew me in right away was how experimental they are and you can tell they are doing music because they genuinely love it. Every single one of them stood out but Wooyoung definitely was the highlight for me as I feel like we got to hear him so much more and on parts that suit his tone/voice so much that it just stood out even more and I loved it. Also always appreciate the continued support you give, it means a lot(: haha definitely feel like they have similar feelings and I love it
its you is also my FAV fav fav for the same reasons! wooyoung is my ult and his ad libs impressed me so much at the end AND SAN BLEW ME AWAYYY HE BELONGS ON AN RNB TRACK LORD HAVE MERCY and ofc yeosang finally getting lines! his voice is criminally underrated because we never get to focus on it. that song is just everything to me lol -also jongho solo had me sobbing his voice is the only voice that touches my soul i swear -matz is INSANE i was not expecting that but wow i love it so much. -youth is another one that made me so emotional yunhos vocals had me tearing tf up and mingis melodic nice tone *the unit songs are easily my fav on the album im so happy we got them

Mingi is pretty much doing something different with his voice in every song for a long while now, the only songs where he sounded similar were their earlier ones like Wave and Say My Name, when he was still a rookie. But even back then, before his hiatus, he changed his voice to something a bit softer for songs like The Black Cat Nero. He seems to know what every song needs from him. Now he's just constantly changing his tone, flow, delivery, etc.. For a rapper that's just SO cool. He's just so versatile despite having a unique voice. Rappers, especially ones like Mingi, with such a distinctive, booming voice, risk sounding the same in every track. But Mingi really puts in the effort to experiment and show incredible flexibility. In Arriba, the Mingi of Say My Name or Guerrilla (so growly and aggressive) would've sounded out of place, and Mingi knew that. So he changed it to something more "silly" and on stage that translates to him dressing and behaving like a drunk Willy Wonka-type character, ready to party and drown his problems in alcohol (the track before Arriba is Emergency, where Mingi's lyrics are HEAVY and introspective, and in Arriba it's like he's saying, ok, I'll party anyway and keep lying to myself like Pinocchio) People don't give him enough credit because he's not a vocalist and rap is still considered "not real music" and "low effort" by many. And if they do like rap, they like the super fast ones (that in my opinion risk sounding out of place and ruining the flow of a song). Which Mingi IS capable of doing, but doesn't do often because, again, he seems to know exactly what a song does and doesn't need from him (same goes for Hongjoong, boy can rap FAST, but he doesn't do it often, or for long, because it wouldn't suit the track) Mingi has been writing and helping producing songs since he was a teen, he's a top copyrighted 4th gen idol, his lyrics are just incredible, and now he's finally produced his own music (and has also written the masterpiece that is Youth + from what I heard he almost directed the MV himself for how many instructions he gave about the aesthetics and themes) I really think he's a musical genius and I wish people would give him more credit. He's also so kind and sweet. Seonghwa said he has the kindest heart out of all of them, everyone says he's always taking care of people, making sure everyone has eaten, giving reassuring speeches, etc.. They also said at home he changes his voice to be less intimidating, especially with the staff, and likes to sound almost child-like 🥲 they agree that he's the cutest member and Yunho says he radiates adorableness (and when everyone's first impression of Mingi was that he's intimidating, Yunho's was that Mingi is cute and adorable 😭) There's a reason why most Atinys agree that even if he's not your official bias in Ateez... he IS still your bias 😂 Everyone just loves Mingi. We can't help it. He's not even a wrecker because he just has a special place in our hearts just for him. Can you tell that I really loved Youth? 😂
