I've been using Bloodfiends Arm with Bleed. At 80 Arc you get 223 bloodloss!!! Pair it with Savage Lions claw and everyone bleeds! Love the builds in the vid
Try using the non-roar heavy attacks, even an uncharged heavy procs bleed in a single hit on MOST enemies. The attack has a blood splatter that both damages and causes extra bleed buildup.
The bloodfiends arm doesn't drop for the trash mobs that wield it. There's a big mob with a wizard bloodfiend at the top of the ruins that has a 100% drop chance for the bloodfiend arm. The info online is not correct!
I beat the dlc and done most of the things. I have had a lot of fun and about to go on to journey 2 on the character I made for dlc. The final boss took me like 6 hours on and off trying various setups before I finally beat it yesterday. Ended up on a janky greatshield/blood affinity antspur rapier build that finally took it down

Pair highland axe with blood fiends arm while using the roar medallion it will power up your r2 that much more and works while you're 2 handing bloodfiends
Nice builds, we have content for years again! 😂 i am in love with the DLC except for a couple really badly designed bosses but otherwise I camt believe this DLC is better than the base game, unreal. My jaw has dropped on a couple occasions for sure playing this, its making me appreciate the story more also.
Idk if NG scales with this expansion, but I saw some people fight the golden hippo and take on 4-5 hits, im on NG 7 and the golden hippo can practically 1 shot you so IDK where Im going wrong if scaling isn't a thing. Even random units can 2 shot you lol.
shoutout to the carian thrusting shield as well - simple magic infusion and it does high damage at 0 risk. wont come close to the perfume or others but it feels like the block is somewhat bugged and the damage reduction is absurd. against some bosses and almost all trash its just broken even on high ng+, also super fun with the new cracked tear
Im using FTH Flame Dryleaf + Braggart's Roar WA and having a ton of fun with the buffs and ranged, the oil tear is perfect to amp fire dmg to near enemies. also tried them with a INT Cold with Rannis Darkmoon and was nice to slow down Frostbitten enemies, but Im not a fan of magic. Beast Claws are just too commited with their attack to make it viable to attack and dash out when needed, but them with Blood or Bloodflame Blade are amazing to pop it
@@AverageGamerMatt Thanks! I never use summons it's just not my type of play style but this boss almost made me use them for the first time, I told myself that I will use summons if I don't get him in 250 tries, I got him on my 204th try
Took me a good long time as well, though not 7 hours I think. I did end up completely changing my build to accommodate hiding behind a greatshield and prayerful striking my path to victory alongside my mimic tear. It turned out to be easier without summoning the two NPCs. Which is a shame, I like using those.
I’m absolutely loving the DLC, not loving the fact every advert I’m getting while watching Elden ring shadow of the erdtree videos are adverts for shadow of the erdtree though..😂

Partial gastroparesis, an esophageal motility disorder. My vagus nerve is permanently damaged (the part connected to the stomach). Slow colon yet somehow I have reoccurring colitis that happens from time to time. I had to have 1/3rd of my stomach removed at one point and was down to 136 pounds at 6”1”. Basically not fun stuff lol but I’m doing a little better. At 180 now. Trying to exercise & manage it with diet. Keeping my head up as always! 🤘

You can get the fire skewer as soon as you enter Altus, you need to beat the invader twice. One at the first legacy dungeon at second at the church to the east of the first Altus grace

5:12 Flame Skewer is not in Shadow Keep. It's from an NPC Invader in a church South East of Shadow Keep. Also, have you never watched a medieval film or TV series? Milady is clearly "Mill-A-D", not "My-Lady" (even though that's exactly what it means). 😂 Lastly, you can't really melee some of the Furnace Golems, because they have armor around their legs and cannot be toppled and the pot throwing isn't optional, it's mandatory. Also, after you do your one and only critical attack on the ones you can melee, you can instantly finish them off by throwing a furnace pot into them before they get up.

Ancient meteoric is bugged, some say it scales with int other show arc and it should be an int. weapon arc affecting magic damage makes zero sense. And it’s so slight that it’s barely worth investing much and pump str. since it’s heavy is just as strong as the skill when charged, and its pierce damage, the move set is also really nice with decent poise dmg.
Nice video. I'm loving dlc. New weapons and spirit ashes are lots of fun. Beat messmer and did the count ymir quest which was also great. Taking my time a bit so far. Draining the church was really cool too. Thanks for the tip!
I love the dlc so far. Only had a problem with one boss. The dragon boss. Took me about 15 tries to beat it. I later found an item that would have helped me a lot but too late. I already beat the boss. But for future runs now I know what to do. Other than that. All bosses I’ve beaten within 5 tries or less. Some I’ve beaten in 1 try. I’m near end game. But I’m checking all areas before getting to end game boss.
The absolute most broken build in dlc is the perfume bottle build. I put final boss in second phase in literally one hit. Try it before it gets nerfed 😂
Why does everyone have to share it into oblivion and get it noticed so much 😂 it’s finally a cool build not bleed and everyone seems to rush into getting it removed

@@kytamang2188 it’s a incredible effective one shot build with little to no downside that works in both PVE and PVP that require a very little investment of which it is more brainrotted than bleed build, of course people are going to point it out.
I've tried the Furnace Giant about 20 times now without success. Weird thing is that in all video's I have seen people fight him, it does the stamping but not so much the fire ball rain. When I do it, it keeps raining fire balls. I was stupid to try the DLC with a NG+1 character.

It stills baffles me how Fromsoft nerfs everything prior to the release of a DLC, only to release spells, weapons and other equipment severely broken and more OP then anything in the base game. The first balance patch will make a lot of players unhappy. I speak from a PVE prespective, not even going to mention pvp lol
Hi! Im trying to makr a Dex/Quality build using weapons like Bloodhound's Fang, Bolt of Gransax, and Dragonking Cragblade. Does the DLC do anything for my build? Was trying to avoid using Blasphemous Blade faith build...
Does the altered heavy attack on braggarts roar needs to be fully charged in order for the 2-3x status that u talked about to trigger? Cuz the normal unaltered heavy atk of it has a special property that builds bleed really quickly thats separate to the initial heavy atk. Just tested it with uncharged heavy atk with both the default and altered and the uncharged default is bleeding every hit while the altered only bleeds every 2 hits (tested it on the omen on the leyndell sewer). Cannot test the fully charged heavy as both of the default and altered fully charged heavy bleeds every hit and the omens die really quick, so only reference that I have is that uncharged default heavy bleeds every hit while uncharged altered heavy requires 2 hits to bleed.
I’m loving the dlc but god damn is consort kicking my ass I’ve tried multiple different builds I’m probably screwed because I’m lvl 663 so boss is scaled crazy
Beast claws get a B scaling with occult affinity. That is what I have been using. Kinda ridiculous how fast they are and the hyper armor from the ash of war. Love the vids and the build ideas.
@@AverageGamerMatt I was using bloodflame blade early in the DLC but switched to an arcane build, bc the bosses are aggressive and have high hp. Reapplying blood flame mid battle was a pain. Also got the extra benefit of higher discovery and use dragon spells.
My favorite build so far overall in elden ring is elenors poleblade. I've tried other builds obviously. I'm on new game plus 7 and trying faith again. What am I doing wrong bc incantations just seem pretty weak to me? I've got 80 faith, all the good talisman and I've tried holy, and flame builds and it just isn't working for me. Help me!
@TheKingofRedLightning yeah it's not op necessarily just my favorite so far. I've been playing the dlc and went into it with a faith build. Or at least trying it again. I've just not been impressed but I've seen some super good builds. Not sure I'm missing something or what.
I was sad when I finished all dlc other day I've ended up rushing through rest a ng+ to start a new lap and get back to dlc for another run! The barbed spear is op I had it with the incantation multilayered ring of light. It's so so good with any faith build this incantation, I've ran as it does high damage and slows/stuns and it has long range so it helped me keep a distance when using the skill on barbed spear. It's probly best incantation in game on high faith build
@TheKingofRedLightning you should look at the igons greatbow , so I've smashed most bosses finishing my run tonight on ng4 with it, the skill is op and with the new talismans for bow it hits really hard on flesh I killed Astel with 4 headshots fully buffed up. Just before I logged of I realised u can remove igons skill and put it on any other bow so not sure if there's a higher damge bow in game it be better on. Nobody seems talk about the bows in this game . Shame
I’m getting tight asf. I don’t usually comment, but bro. Radahn is a menace to society. I can’t even begin to explain the frustration. Like where’s the openings? If I try and box him the trade isn’t worth it he kills me in 2-3 hits. I’m not even going to start with his second phase. And yes I got the scadutree fragments…I’m 19/20. The fight is insane though. Currently using and switching between dragon hunter and rakshasa great katanas, and nagakiba for bleed with double slash. Tips? Literally I’m playing peek a boo with the guy. I’m dodging for 5 minutes and then I get one hit in and then dodge some more. Like bro…
Phase 2 is rough. For phase 1 the barbed staff spear can speed it up. With the right holy boosting build it’s 2-3 cast to phase 2. Then your summon (if you’re using one) will be healthy for phase 2.

It still scales with NG+ cycle from my understanding, just to a lesser degree than the base game.

Just finished the dlc and the final boss was a nightmare it took me around 7 hours to get him solo

I did a cold build with the beast claws. Blood and frost proc pretty much every ash of war usage. Crazy shred burst damage

It’s not bugged. Marais is the same way (it’s been for over 2 years). They’re both strength & arcane with magic damage.

Roars! They alter your charged attack. I used braggart’s roar. Also 2-3x the status on those hits! 🤘

Im trying to makr a Dex/Quality build using weapons like Bloodhound's Fang, Bolt of Gransax, and Dragonking Cragblade.
Does the DLC do anything for my build? Was trying to avoid using Blasphemous Blade faith build...
Dexterity has a ton. Milady & backhand blades are great 👍

you should definitely test flame spear on flame art fire knights greatsword and flowerstone gavel-both are really insane with the right build

Does the altered heavy attack on braggarts roar needs to be fully charged in order for the 2-3x status that u talked about to trigger?
Cuz the normal unaltered heavy atk of it has a special property that builds bleed really quickly thats separate to the initial heavy atk.
Just tested it with uncharged heavy atk with both the default and altered and the uncharged default is bleeding every hit while the altered only bleeds every 2 hits (tested it on the omen on the leyndell sewer).
Cannot test the fully charged heavy as both of the default and altered fully charged heavy bleeds every hit and the omens die really quick, so only reference that I have is that uncharged default heavy bleeds every hit while uncharged altered heavy requires 2 hits to bleed.
I believe on roars it has to be fully charged. I’m also doing a highlight for the weapon with more builds coming out soon! 🤘
Lightning Perfume builds are the best in this new dlc (10000 per heavy attack)

I’m loving the dlc but god damn is consort kicking my ass I’ve tried multiple different builds I’m probably screwed because I’m lvl 663 so boss is scaled crazy
He’s tough for sure. The barbed spear works well for phase 1.
Ive been using bloodfiends arm with savage lions claw and occult and its been great but now i definitely want to try that bleed build

I use endure ash of war, sometimes savages lions claw misses on me at least with endure I can tank a hit and give a charged attack right back.

Beast claws get a B scaling with occult affinity. That is what I have been using. Kinda ridiculous how fast they are and the hyper armor from the ash of war. Love the vids and the build ideas.

@@AverageGamerMatt I was using bloodflame blade early in the DLC but switched to an arcane build, bc the bosses are aggressive and have high hp. Reapplying blood flame mid battle was a pain. Also got the extra benefit of higher discovery and use dragon spells.
Got 2 remeberance bosses left. The final boss of the dlc and the one at the bottom, if you know you know

My favorite build so far overall in elden ring is elenors poleblade. I've tried other builds obviously. I'm on new game plus 7 and trying faith again. What am I doing wrong bc incantations just seem pretty weak to me? I've got 80 faith, all the good talisman and I've tried holy, and flame builds and it just isn't working for me. Help me!

@TheKingofRedLightning yeah it's not op necessarily just my favorite so far. I've been playing the dlc and went into it with a faith build. Or at least trying it again. I've just not been impressed but I've seen some super good builds. Not sure I'm missing something or what.
wait till you try the Carian Sovereinty ash of war and the thorns spell. Truely busted and will prob get nerfed

My Bloodfiend Charge attack is different than yours. How do you do that move?
Roars! Braggart’s roar will alter the charged hit & give you 2-3x the status build up.

I was sad when I finished all dlc other day I've ended up rushing through rest a ng+ to start a new lap and get back to dlc for another run! The barbed spear is op I had it with the incantation multilayered ring of light. It's so so good with any faith build this incantation, I've ran as it does high damage and slows/stuns and it has long range so it helped me keep a distance when using the skill on barbed spear. It's probly best incantation in game on high faith build

@TheKingofRedLightning you should look at the igons greatbow , so I've smashed most bosses finishing my run tonight on ng4 with it, the skill is op and with the new talismans for bow it hits really hard on flesh I killed Astel with 4 headshots fully buffed up. Just before I logged of I realised u can remove igons skill and put it on any other bow so not sure if there's a higher damge bow in game it be better on. Nobody seems talk about the bows in this game . Shame

My meteoric greatsword scales equally with strength and arcane and doesn’t do any magic damage how is yours different ?
Idk mine has a “B” and a “D” at +9. Little bit of magic damage. I looked it up & that’s correct. 👍

Can anyone confirm if 2 Bloodfiend Arms is possible in 1 playthrough? I've farmed prospect time (top floor) for 2 hours and I can't get more than 1.
Now it seems they may not drop it unfortunately. Some of the info on drops was incorrect.
Is there something I'm missing with the Meteoric Greatsword scaling? Arcane seems to barely move the needle compared to a Strength
So the magic damage is basically weapon level. It’s like Marais, the increase past like 45 arcane is minimal.
I got the blood fiend arm but it doesn’t apply blood affinity with braggarts roar
You need the black whetblade for blood affinity.

I’m getting tight asf. I don’t usually comment, but bro. Radahn is a menace to society. I can’t even begin to explain the frustration. Like where’s the openings? If I try and box him the trade isn’t worth it he kills me in 2-3 hits. I’m not even going to start with his second phase. And yes I got the scadutree fragments…I’m 19/20. The fight is insane though. Currently using and switching between dragon hunter and rakshasa great katanas, and nagakiba for bleed with double slash. Tips?

Phase 2 is rough. For phase 1 the barbed staff spear can speed it up. With the right holy boosting build it’s 2-3 cast to phase 2. Then your summon (if you’re using one) will be healthy for phase 2.

Flame art whetblade is at Redmane castle.
When you do the stats can you make sure you don’t have your buffs it adds those ones too
It only adds the tear. 10 levels for faith.

My main build is greatsword or 2 giant crusher haha but have you seen those insane perfume builds that do around 40k damage in one hit?!? Yeah, but I had to use bloodfiend arm build to whoop prime radahn😂😂 I used cragblade on the bloodfiend arm, I dont know if theres a better ash of war for it😂

I killed the strongest furnace golem (200K hp) in 30 seconds if you want the build that everyone talk about but I can show the clip of how I do it in 30 seconds

How do I not get hit by the jump attack. I tried jumping but still get hit
Single stomps are easily jumped. The double jump is a pain & hard to dodge.

Performance was honestly lackluster, you could make it work, but at that point it’s better to use anything else
Peat thread spear is WAAAAAY better on thise furnace golems.... ive only had to use furnace pots on the armored ones
