Aww-- Too bad my vex season's done for good. My town only has one high school vex team, and I'm not going to that high school. Good luck to all competitors next year~
Im in my first year of robotics, and im already so excited! Im ready to get buliding for the robot, mainly because my goal for life other than music is being a engineer!
its definitely going to challenge teams to create robots for this year..... i mean, starstruck was kinda easy compared to this and nothing but net, am i right?
Been talking about this with my team for awhile, but do you guys think of a bot that can split into two. As one robot they are controlled with tank controls using one controller. once they split it becomes two bots that are either controlled using arcade style controls and two controllers, or one controller with each half being controlled with one of the analog sticks.
Having been asked how this would work, I do not think it would be a viable option in an actual competition, as nearly all competitions, including the actual vex ones, only allow for one cortex. In those that have no limits however, it is a simple matter of creating a locking mechanism that operates via a combination of gravity and rubber bands. Once a motor/servo lifts an arm that is being held in place by rubber bands, they will be able to move about freely. The only other option I can see that doesn't involve a bunch of wire extensions that will get tangled, is an illegal VexNet Key mod that allows one wireless dongle attached to the Joystick to communicate with two others rather than the current system that only allows for 1 to 1 communication.
This was my favorite game when I did VEX robotics in high school. One where I was literally “in the zone”.
I wish I weren't too old for this! Looks like the best game since Skyrise. The end-effectors and lifts aren't immediately obvious this time!
Just joined the Vex Robotics club in my school! Can't wait to show them my skills in engineering!
Erica is best bowler
Yes! I'm so hyped to start working on our robot!
ive been waiting for sooo long... im glad its here!

That's really unfortunate man. This is definitely one of the more interesting and unique competition games that VEX has made.
Who else is out of robotics (because you've graduated or something like that) but wants to help their team anyway? Or am I the only one?
ur not the only one
Most complicated vex game I have seen yet. I look forward to the competition.

This'll be my first comp :^)
It's gonna be good this year.
I'm so excited for this game!!!
It sucks being a senior because I won't be able to partake in this season. It seems very cool and strategy orientated.
Very exciting!

Looks like an interesting game this year, good luck to everyone
Good Luck To You! 3250A - 3250D
Im doing this in school. so excited to build design drive and win with my own bot

Gavin Walling that sounds interesting, but how would u do it?
