The Jets drafted a chubby back up QB instead of a giant freak mvp candidate and an actual MVP. I feel bad for fans of an organization with a scouting department that came to that absurd and utterly mind boggling conclusion. 2018 draft really set this franchise behind years.

Yea that's where I'm at now. Been like this for a few years. Last time i got excited was in '16 when Fitz and b marshall were there and having a good year, were 10-5 and of course lost to the Tyrod Taylor bills and end up missing the playoffs 😢 💔 I haven't got back to being excited yet, I loved our draft this year, but Zach gotta show this year some drastic improvement or we look for a diff QB. As rich said, that was a very low IQ play by him as the QB in a pre season game
Being a Jets fan, you eventually learn that if you expect nothing, you are pleasantly surprised when you get a little. Last year, I was thinking, "We doubled our wins this season!" complete with the Pam response in my head of someone wanted to pull a Stanley and say, "What, from two to four?"

To be a Jets fan is to be in near constant pain. Every once in a while there is a reprieve where it's not so bad but eventually you will get the feeling to JETS (Just End The Season/Suffering).

@@phxdubr I’m a jets fan I would say it’s a unique struggle. The browns have more to cheer for as of late. We have been borderline mediocre every 3 seasons for decades. This drought is something different us Jets fans have never experienced in the franchise history up until now.

I'll never forget that game between the Jets and Buccaneers last year. That's the game where Antonio Brown stripped off his gear and marched out of the stadium, quitting the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay was down the entire game but Brady led an incredible touchdown drive with about a minute left to pull the game out of the fire and break the hearts of Jets fans everywhere.
It was pretty amazing.
The Jets beat themselves in that game by not going for the FG that would have put them up 27-20 instead they went for it 4th down and didn’t make it.

Seriously! (I just realized I could get blasted by a Gen Z person for mentioning Cleveland). For those who don’t know, the Cleveland Browns used to exist. But then they moved to Baltimore and became the Baltimore Ravens. So for about 4 years or so, Cleveland didn’t have an NFL team. So Ralph Wilson and the Bills gave season tickets to the city of Cleveland. Many used them. Then Cleveland got a team again in 1998 or 1999 (around there) and kept the name Cleveland Browns.

Growing up in Flushing Queens, by geography alone I was a Jets fan. It was Namath, Sack Exchange, Chad/Chrebet, Rex....and then done for me, just couldn't go any longer with the front office choices (Gase???)....I feel ya Rich.

How many times do guys with knee and leg issues have to get hurt before they just wear a brace? I know it limits mobility and it's uncomfortable, but so are bone bruises, torn ACLs, and shattered kneecaps. I get the aversion if speed is your game, but a lot of these lineman and QBs really need to reconsider.

Truthfully, as a early 80's Jets fan to now. I still think the game hasn't slowed down to him. Maybe, sitting and watching may be best for him. I am Far reaching out Chris Streveler deserve a shot too. When was,the last time you seen a Jets QB take the team down the field and score for a 4th quarter comeback. Also, a Jets QB that never took snaps in camp and go into a game and make it Happen
Youd think that NFL teams would stop reaching with QBs just cause they show the ability to extend plays behind the line of scrimmage and deliver strong, accurate throws from different platforms, especially when having to move left and contort his body to deliver the ball. Swear every year we see atleast one QBdrafted early in the first that have all the arm "talent"/strength or are great athletes that can sling the ball but can't go through their WR progressions or even read a defense smh makes no sense at all. I'd rather try to improve a guys physical ability then to try to make a guy smarter/teach a guy how to be a QB lol

This happens every single year a team losses their number one draft pick or best player for the season over a worthless game.
