Not sure Jamie Murray’s shot was technically legal. You’re not supposed to cross the plane of the net before the ball bounces. Or so I’ve been told.
He can hit the ball if it's on the other side if it has bounced back over while still in play. You just can't step on the opponent's side of the court, i.e., jump over the net and land on the opponent's side, before the ball bounces twice. However, Jamie only appeared to reach over, and did not technically go onto the opponent's side. Hope that clears it up.

It is allowed if the ball bounces back to your own court after already bouncing on the opponent's side of the court
