Idk my brain says "(65*10*3)+(65*5) still not stupid easy to multiply with but i still get my answer of (1950)+(325)=2275 just takes less steps and slightly more mental math. Like knowing half of 65 is 32.5. not much, but i guess your way is easier and more drawn-out 😂 you make me understand why math teachers never likes my "show your work" sections lmao
When the number in the tenth place is a single digit, in this case 1 (1×1) place a zero in front of it. The problem will then look like this: 31 ×11 -------- 301 40 --------- 341
Bro I got the answer in 2 seconds in my head it is just you add 0 in 31 and add 31 to it is easy if you look at patterns so you can get answer very quickly
I got it under 30 second using mental math using this technique, How to multiply double digit numbers In head easily: let’s say for example you have an equation of 23*56, you would, to break things down multiply that of 20 times 56, to do this: 20*50=1000 now multiply the 6 remaining 1 value digits to 20 and add to that of 1000= 1120, now with this number at hand (1120) multiply 3 times 56: 3 times 50= 150 plus the last reaming 1 value digits, 3 times 6 the add to original number 150+18=168 now and these together 168+1120 and you get 1288.
