Love how you break everything apart in these videos and explain it so easy. I’m not a singer, but want to take lessons now just to satisfy my curiosity for techniques.

I always appreciate the specific technique talk in your videos, like the attention to how different sounds or timbres are produced at different places in a singer's range, so it's great to watch analysis of a singer like Tim, who has such a massive range to analyze. So cool that you got to work with him, and well done to the Bass Gang for creating such a fun, funny, expertly put together piece!

Tim lives in Nashville, so you can add another state to this collab. I'm so used to him doing his walking base lines that I don't even consider anymore how complicated they are to sing. I admit I just LOVE watching you react and analyse a new Bass Gang video. You look even more excited than a kid who was given his dream toys to play with, and they're even better than he expected. 🙂 And this time it's even more so than usual. 🙂 Tim is one of my favourite bass singers, together with Geoff and all you guys. And you all have something beyond your already incredible singing skills (as if they weren't enough already! 😁). You've got HUMOUR. It looks so obvious that you guys had tons of fun making this video (albeit with all the difficulties of not being together in person), and I'd bet every one of you had maybe even more when watching the final result for the first time. 😁😅 That said, this is an incredible performance, by all of you guys. Tim is just as incredible as it gets, with his incredible range (there are moments in which he sings HIGHER than most "regular" singers, and he sounds just as ease as in his low register 😳). And his smile is contagious 🙂😁. But you all are fantastic. And you really show your "funny side", which is absolutely GREAT. Towards the end there's such a profusion of hilarious, almost crazy-ish acts played in the background that I was falling from my chair 😅🙂. And Tim is amazing - I'd noticed those short base runs he'd done by seeing his lips move, but hadn't realized just how low he was going in them before your description.
I loved every second of this. I watched the official video first then started going through reactions - Mortius, Jennifer Glatzhofer, King Family, etc. (so many more...) and noticed that you guys, more than any other groups I follow, acknowledge and comment on the reactions. I think that's awesome. Not done finding reactions yet. Hoping David K finds it soon - he doesn't focus so much on the voice but on the arrangement and videography and always notices things that flew under the radar for me. What was fun was how this was a "blind reaction" for several reactors, so far. Their faces when they saw Tim show up were an absolute hoot. And the obvious fan-girling you guys were having to be able to work with Tim was just such a blast to watch. I'd say you guys have worked your way up that mountain to quite the view. :)

This was a blast! I was so thrilled for you guys collabing with Tim!!! During "Tongue's Tim Position", I was wondering: does a relaxed tongue help to hit lower notes?
It doesn't help to hit the notes, but it produces a much higher quality tone if your tongue is relaxed. Many bass singers compress the tongue and block pharyngeal space for low notes, but not Tim! Very healthy, cleanly produced tones

Got to be honest, this was the first Bass Gang track I've listened to and I love it! Having Tim there definitely helps but you guys were really entertaining and watching some of the other reactions has been hilarious. Will definitely be checking out some more.

Tim & Austin have a side project with other singer/song writer/musicians (including occasional guests) called "Sweet & Low Music Co." - the public portions of the live streams are available on you tube. Between touring/recording/videotaping with Home Free, doing so on their own channels, song writing and Tim's recording with other artists (Peter Hollens, Chris Rupp, the Bass Gang) and more, I really don't know when either of them sleep, eat or breathe!

I saw a couple of reactors who'd got a "sneak preview" of this freak out when Tim appeared!! (They released their reactions after you'd officially released.) I've been following you guys since the very first time you brought them to me. The GANG is just plain AWESOME, some of the BEST vocals I've ever heard and I love you taking it apart and telling us what you were doing while making this recording. Then, OMG, Marwan IS an ABSOLUTE GENIUS at connecting all these performances. I've played it and enjoyed it more times than I can remember over the past two days. MORE, please. I hope that sometime in the near future you guys will be able to make a tour in the US so that I can have the pleasure of attending a concert of you all IN PERSON.
I have struggled with a severe case of the shingles for weeks now and the electronic pain is at times unbearable along with an uncomfortable urge to itch! I loved that you guys had some humour in the video. You see that in a lot in Home Free videos, so it seemed like it was in the spirit of Tim.

This was a blast! I was so thrilled for you guys collabing with Tim!!! During "Tongue's Tim Position", I was wondering: does a relaxed tongue help to hit lower notes?
It doesn't help to hit the notes, but it produces a much higher quality tone if your tongue is relaxed. Many bass singers compress the tongue and block pharyngeal space for low notes, but not Tim! Very healthy, cleanly produced tones

Got to be honest, this was the first Bass Gang track I've listened to and I love it! Having Tim there definitely helps but you guys were really entertaining and watching some of the other reactions has been hilarious. Will definitely be checking out some more.
Poor marwan is going to be remembered not for his amazing talent or editing but the juice box... Tim was as expected amazing.. but seeing how much fun you all put into the piece is probably the best part you can hear it too

I feel the same way - seeing the notes is really helpful! I sang as a soprano, and the F wasn’t easy for me 😊. I had to learn how to sing it properly!

Tim & Austin have a side project with other singer/song writer/musicians (including occasional guests) called "Sweet & Low Music Co." - the public portions of the live streams are available on you tube. Between touring/recording/videotaping with Home Free, doing so on their own channels, song writing and Tim's recording with other artists (Peter Hollens, Chris Rupp, the Bass Gang) and more, I really don't know when either of them sleep, eat or breathe!

I saw a couple of reactors who'd got a "sneak preview" of this freak out when Tim appeared!! (They released their reactions after you'd officially released.) I vaguely remember the B J Thomas version that came out when I was about 11, I think, but this is so much better as far as I'm concerned. It's so upbeat and just makes me smile - I can't stop playing it! Fantastic job 👍😊

Thank you, THANK YOU, Peter. I watched this yesterday but just couldn't take the time to comment then, I was STUNNED, to say the least, and immersed myself in Tim and the Bass Gang. I've been following you guys since the very first time you brought them to me. The GANG is just plain AWESOME, some of the BEST vocals I've ever heard and I love you taking it apart and telling us what you were doing while making this recording. Then, OMG, Marwan IS an ABSOLUTE GENIUS at connecting all these performances. I've played it and enjoyed it more times than I can remember over the past two days. MORE, please. I hope that sometime in the near future you guys will be able to make a tour in the US so that I can have the pleasure of attending a concert of you all IN PERSON.

I have struggled with a severe case of the shingles for weeks now and the electronic pain is at times unbearable along with an uncomfortable urge to itch! But I have found listening to you talk about your music.and hearing you sign is therapeutic for me. I can forget about the pain for awhile.
