Girl when things are bad it’s time to help others to help take your mind off of your troubles. Volunteer at a hospital a school or something to help others. You may find that others have it much worse.

I totally agree with you. Material things only make you happy for so long. Then reality hits and it’s on to the next to try to fill that void. I enjoy her videos and her sense of humor but I don’t think I care enough about this content to buy a book about it.

Wow! Now i am confused! As my Mother used to say "If you dont get what you want, its because youre going to get something better!". Its hard to put so much of yourself into something and not have it work out, there must be some reason, maybe the area is going to be hit by the next tornado--who knows? I hope everything goes smoothly with your present house and that you love it for years to come!!

I’m so sorry for you and what you are going through. Life isn’t always fair. However, Marie has a right to reveal (or not reveal) information in whatever manner she wishes in the format she prefers. I say it is not fair for those who buy her book to pay for information she then gives away in a video.
@@kathya9522right. Most bigger creators have a patreon or join button or both these days. CG has been giving away everything but her kits and other merch for free for a long time. I'm kind of stunned by all the upset people about the book. I didn't buy it bc I'm not a big reader but I'm not mad about it bc as I already said most larger creators charge for some of their content. CG never has. And if she wants to add a patreon I won't be mad about that either!

I'd suggest getting a lawyer to go over any future contracts for you before buying something else. It would have been worth the cost in your situation.

Darling you know I have watched you since the first house you were in. For some reason I had a feeling you were not happy in Florida. I’m so sorry for what this has turned into intolerable. This trend has been happening all over Texas where people plan to build a house and then the construction company breaks the contract and then sells the house for double the price that the individual was going to buy it. People should be aware this is really happening in Texas.
I just said the same thing. It is sad, and over inflated market
it is happening in many markets, not just TX. Buyer beware. But a house, no house you live in let's you escape yourself or the issues of your life.
How can they do that when you sign a contract?
@@reneeh50k they put in loopholes for these exact reasons. The wording is so absurd they figure out ways to twist it and get away with it.
That’s the thing right? People just see it as a scam. For what? Views? Please she can get views from us just watching her walk around a dollar tree, she definitely didn’t have to make an elaborate “scheme” for a few views. People are so creative with their thoughts.
Something similar happened to my daughter. They bought a piece of land to build a custom home on and then C happened driving costs up and then interest rates sky rocketed. They moved into their new home just before Thanksgiving knowing that they would sell it in the spring. They just couldn't afford to keep it. They bought a 80 yr old fixer upper instead and have gutted the basement so they have one bedroom they share with their 2 young daughters. All a learning and growing process. 😉
I am reading the comments and the haters who apparently “hate you” still sat and watched this 30min video. Life sometimes doesn’t work in the direction you think. I hope your next house will be what you want.
It's weird right? How sad their lives must be the only thing they have to do on a saturday afternoon is to watch videos of someone they don't like and post nasty comments. I saw someone else post a tik tok the other day, said something like " you may not like me, but if you are still watching you are still a fan " .. perfection!!

@@jackiehollenbaugh181 that’s exactly what it is. I am fortunate to have what I have, I can’t build a house or buy a mansion but I certainly would never hate on those who can out of envy. Hate always comes from within. Whatever happened in her situation could happen to any of us, we just don’t have the nerve to put it out there for people to judge.
You move around a lot. So for you , having the resources needed to move again , I wouldnt worry about the house you are taking. It doesnt need to be your forever, so enjoy it for what its worth . Im sure it will be amazing , all of your homes have been and you always decorate them beautifully
I understand the disappointment. I was supposed to be getting my disability and a large settlement for the 3 to 4 years that i have been fighting for it. My lawyer straight screwed me out of it and there is nothing i could do about it. I was hoping to put down money on a home for me and my mom. I hope everything works out for u and u end up loving your new house. I have to have hope that God always has a better plan for us.

I think that it is best not to add another mistake to a first one, especially with money - good for you if you are living within your means- true joy is free!

Wow! I built two houses in my life time and will never do it again. Too stressful. 😊
For whatever reason, this house wasn't meant for you. And to me, there was red flags, that was missed cause of your excitement. "The builder was so impressed that they where showing this as a model house." I would have been questioning that. I guess it's just that if it's not in writing, I mean everything I wouldn't be agreeing to anything. But we learn from our mistakes.

We has women should be lifting each other up. Envy is a terrible thing. We are all in different paths. What is important to some may not be important to others. Dont put your eggs in one basket .. Im so sorry .. I can only guess what happened , I bought a house in Wylie , Tx in 2018 and the market was just crazy .. we had no time to look and just find something you had to get it .. and its just been the hardest 6 years almost of my life ..

If you remember the electric power was in and out and she couldn't even cook or bath or do dishes, this way she can warm water to do whatever she needs to do and she can cook and she can use it to heat up a room sometimes.

I completely agree. We have lived in our house for 19 years and I have NEVER felt like it was truly my home. I've struggled to decorate and I just long for something else. I totally understand the feeling of being disconnected from your home. Not a great feeling.
