She was a runaway!!!! That’s why she was dating an 18 yr old at 14!!!! Her parents obviously told her no and then she did what many REBELLIOUS teens do! She ran away with her boyfriend! They were “in love” and the mean parents were trying to stop “Romeo and Juliet” from doing what they wanted!
@TerrasTarotAZ It was a different time. Teens being 4 years apart in age, a lot of the time going to the same Highschool and dating, wasn't as frowned upon as it is now. I'm pretty sure even in some states today, Romeo and Juliette laws would apply.
