One of the best video's I have seen in ages. I can't believe that a couple of guys who couldn't change a brake pad 2 years ago are UA-cam content hero's. They remind me of the early episodes of Wheeler Dealer. It's no surprise to me that monster channels like DDE are now pivoting to your content format.

Build was a massive gamble. You are very brave taking it on and compared to what you bought ot looks good.
The fit on the drivers door looks bad which would explain the wind noise but you can't have ot all with a high date car.
    Top job👍🏻

Found you through Mat Armstrong channel. I like how you want to do everything just right with the wiring for the steering wheel airbag. When you took the dash out the 2nd time did you find out where the 2 extra bolts when? Amazing rebuild!!! It would be nice if you would put the year in the description.

What a shame I have only just seen this video.. I worked on the preproduction F-types at browns lane plant and also as a rectifier as Castle Bromwich Plant. Can probably change "Topper Pad" in less than 2 hours.. Shame I would have loved to have come and done if for free..

What a nice gesture! I'd love a SVR. I owned a V6S for a few years and fell in love with the F-type; what a sound track that car has.

Agree with Jason Clark3057. Really enjoyed watching you. 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 you are very very good. I specifically picked up on the point you made that even though fixing some of the larger jobs looked daunting, once you got stuck in it wasn’t so bad. But that is a sign of your passion and dedication! It’s great to see this. You’ve inspired me to do what I used to do in my teens (I’m 64 now teach Physics and love cars) I’ve noted all you’ve done and we’ve a Mercedes SLK sport and I think we’ll do a tribute to someone and make a video too. Only you and Mat have inspired me and my wife to do it! Thanks keep going live your content. Just watched the full 2hrs as I’m laid off work with a damaged back and today hasn’t been so painful watching you take the jag from disaster to showroom condition. I watched your trip to Monaco did you sell the car yet?

That's a beautiful car. wish I had some extra cash. I only have a 2007 mazda 3 4 door sedan with 2.0L 5spd. I'd love to turbo charge it, put a full sport exhaust on it, a sport suspension, 18" wheels and a nice body kit. I had a.Newr engine, New clutch, newr transmission installed and stock struts and springs. It's all Stock, but I'd love to give it some more horsepower with a turbo and maybe a chip in the ecu
and throw in a 6spd transmission on top of it. It's not a Jaguar, but I love that little car. Even with the stock suspension and new tires, the car is small and low to the ground, so it handles really good around and of the windy roads where I live, but its just not fast enough. I wish I had the money to build it.

What I like the most about your video and why I subscribed was that you showed it start to finish and I didn't have to suffer through watching a 6 month build and I watched it from start to finish great job but I knew you were going to be way over on such a limited model and a newer car and jaguar is notorious for there depreciation 😢.

I have a XJR X350 4.2 SC and if the battery voltage drops even by 1 or 2 volts it throws up all sorts of spurious dashboard faults. So I would put the battery on charge and see if that cures the faults.

Hello Hello From Canada!!! I love this car and I'm new to your channel so I'll be looking at lots of past episodes to catch up on. Totally mad respect to you for installing the whole new steering wheel clockspring instead of hacking in sketchy wiring for the airbag replacement. I don't subscribe to all the new channels I watch, but I did subscribe, because the clockspring replacement shows how much you care about the "next owner" and future driver safety of the car. I'm concerned and a little confused why you didn't do any of the mods on the front inner fenders that you said you planned. The heavy duty front calipers will need all of the added air flow that the vents you didn't cut out before installing the inner wheel wells. Were you really that stuck and short for time to neglect installing the vents? The thing I am also dying to know is if the dealership gave you a current market value if you resell the car??? Keep up the awesome content and I can't wait to see what you jump into next. 🤘😁👍
