450 and JAck for the love of god when you cut carbon fiber put a mask on your face !!! We love you we want you to stay safe.....
Agree! I bought carbon fiber for my motorcycle. I had great plans! Then, I learned how cutting carbon fiber can blind you? Nope!
You always know what makes good content!
Ok. Some advice.
- always wear at least a mask cutting glas/carbon fiber.
- that engine is not gonna last, needs opening up.
- same for the gearbox. Change the bearings/seals. Its been exposed to water.
- drilling 500 something holes weakens the structure of the allready flimsy frame.
Always love your content, but a racecar is an demanding mistress.
Stay safe.
Silicone seal your carbon edges to prevent moisture from penetrating it.
@AmanSingh-oq1xj..In fact, Never use ''Silicone seal your carbon edges''....Please do not make asinine comments....ever!
@@mark006868 they do this in aerospace!
Literally clicked this the moment it popped up xD
Loving the team work woth Jack and Maurice
The fluid mix in the transmission looks like coolant. You likely have a leaking o-ring between the block and the trans passages.
Hi jack, just thought I’d comment and say how I truly enjoy your channel. I’m a uk viewer and I watch as soon as I see you’ve updated.
Be careful using 5pt harness, unless u wear a han. Internal decapitation is a possibility it's safer to use the 3pt
Where's the JOIN! button... I would love to help with your builds .
Those “carbon” panels sure look like fiberglass panels with a carbon aesthetic layer.
Yes there is a layer of glass between the carbon and aluminum belly pan. This is there to prevent Galvanic Corrosion between the carbon and aluminum. Carbon and aluminum are conductors. The glass serves as an insulator. So you are correct in your analogy and this is the reason why. Good eye.
i like kyle
Jack and a mat upload yessssss !!! 🎉❤
I work at the company that does the wiring that you were able to see in the f1 paddock for every team. the only think that i would say is important that wasn't mentioned is to "pin poke" the connectors before sealing the boot. that is to make sure that the pins in the connector does not push back and not connect when connected to its counterpart.
Your gearbox will tend to overheat if you don't put some vents in your floor panels to get some air on it.
Love seeing the progress on this build. I think it's best to use respiratory protection when cutting carbon.
Lol you were worried about the powder coat and homie bopped it with the red bar he was holding 😂😂
1h video! Hell yeah, you made my day!
"Maurice *wolf whistle*" IYKYK
Some people call me the space cowboy 🎶
What? Don’t U gonna paint this frame? It’s so dirty and U already put wire inside? Please make it clean before?
Pretty sure this is a dry build and the frame will get powder coated before final assembly.
Go to 20 mins 30 seconds on the video. He mentions about taking all the brackets off to drop the engine back in after getting powder coated.
This is wiring worthy of Space X....
I agree, was just sat thinking "what no relays? just a black box ! That'll screw up" , but when you think about it, if there is a problem you know where to look and you just have to have a spare magic black box in the frunk, ready to just plug in. wiring is next level.
Thanks, Eric.
Does it really need a hole every 3 inches? I mean , most plastic undertrays have like four screws holding the whole thing on to the car so you could probably do with half as many fasteners as that, unless you mean to have things fasteneed to the floor?
It's not an under tray, it's also the floor you stand on
We need more Kyle
Funny that just ,before u revealed , I said 450,shit that's alot brother!😬😬😬👀👀😱👍💪🤝🇬🇧🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇬🇧
Help me understand: if you have a new body coming, why so much work on the old one? Cool build by the way Jack
The clam shells are new. The bit in the middle is being reused
Nobel just called , they fired their entire R and D division and hired Jack to design and build their next car..
49:05.. yup sorry, we kinda like to see you struggle.. great job, great attitude 💪.. best success with this build 👍
Lets go. I love it when jack uploads. Always a must watch video everytime. Keep it up buddy.
The air jacks are next level..so cool I just ordered a set for my Kia..need them for quick tire changes after hitting these monster pot holes here in Atlanta
Jack Also, when you’re mounting all those panels, why don’t you use countersunk torque head bolts would look so much cleaner in stainless
Top quality entertainment. Love noble m12's and your remastering of it.
Jack why didn’t you just put a new drillbit in it? You can remove it from the hole saw
I watched the camera/car guys channel where he built a rusted Classic car for his mom
Jack hacks it instead of jack builds it lol jkjk jack awesome work
old red atf gets abit milky and air when fluids are low its gets white
Is that LSD additive in the gearbox?
I'm happy to see garage goblin on the channel
Why is a d a sander called a d a
Dual action
18:37 the forbidden smoothie 😂
Love that Kyle’s tyere
Now fast and the furious makes sense when his floor pan fell out !!! Thanks jack
😂
Will drilling something like 500 holes not weaken the chassis not an expert just asking
Not sure but let’s be honest any crash in this at speed and it’s a bad day 😂
Thanks Erik
35:40 I do this on my classic motorbikes. I use a label printer that can print on heatshrink tubing (it's a Dymo one, but many can do this). Makes things so much easier when troubleshooting an electrical issue.
This build and Chris' Lambo from b is for build are the best on UA-cam right now.
That looks like coolant mixed with transmission fluid. You might have a damaged o-ring connection between the block and trans.
So much progress in this video! Two pairs of hands makes a big difference!
put the shelves off of the walls so you can get to both sides of the shelf helps with finding things too nothing gets buried behind things 😊
When you trimmed the new panel before installing the nutcerts I was screaming at the screen.
Cutting carbon fiber and not wearing a respirator... sheesh
Rubber weather seal for the air jacks would make it more over built
14:49 we all know the engine not going to start as soon as you put it in the car!
Ryobi 😂😂😂 you need to upgrade your drills jack
Eric sounds exactly like Rex.
Call your channel, "Jack the Hack".
The kurt cobain of rebuilding cars

Space in workshop: a shredder🤣🤣😇
Hell yes to long-format videos!
I am the first one😂❤❤
you are not.
@@johnmolina7734 i know that's a never ending debate 😂😂
Is Kyle from goblin garage
Would you say your wrench werx?
the better thing to guess would be how many drill bits did you use ?
2
I was going to say 500
Nice one, Jack.
510 rivets
Letttts gooooooooooo
Yoo
His harnesses looks nice but using all the same color wire I do not agree with labels deteriorate fall off break after time. Yes, you can always ohm them out but multicolors in the long run especially on race car stuff is wise
The labels for the wires are only for the assembly process. If you go to the part where I say "this is a completed section of the harness..." you'll see how the harness is completely booted and sealed with epoxy. So you can't see the individual wires once the wires are completed anyway. The reason why the harness is booted and sealed is to protect the wires from chemicals shorting out the wires and starting a fire in the event of a crash. This practice is only used in racing and is not necessary for a street car. But Jack is building a race car for the street so I figured "why not?"
400
600
Are the wiring harness labels white heat-shrink?
Yes, there are Dymo and other label printers with special cartridges that print directly on heat shrink.

13 Episodes i watched ever second of the Videos but this one i fast forward it... because there was too much of talking and long long explanation same thinks over and over..
Is this Kyle dude milking his 15 mins of fame ? Annoying fella 😒
Great project but WAAAAY too much faffing around.....
Kyle is annoying
Just curious how exactly? He's not only turning wrenches and drilling holes. Kyle also works hard behind the scenes to make this build possible.
Nice cannon plugs, in my eyes, you're not just race car - also aviation fighter jet! 🫡
😂
