@Gen O I would recommend to you Aventus cologne, not aquatic but classic Gentlemens fragrance… really exceptional And yes, there’s nothing better than a beautiful chocolate fragrance ♥️ Especially this line up which will cover all year long use. Thanks for reaching out, great to hear from you👊🏽
what a nice background on the beach, looks amazing, i knew Boccanera would be in this list, one of my all time favourites :) some great fragrances here, nice reviews sir
Boccanera had to make the list!! It's the ultimate dark chocolate, sensual divine fragrance out there (well at least I think so😬). Great to hear from you Adz👊🏽
Happy to add another chocolate frag I can attest to - Gallagher's "wicked good". Very rich chocolate opening (think chocolate ganache) that dries down to a wonderful vanilla and tonka scent
Really nice mate talk! Love the editing on this one with the light and the finger snapping! While in the last phase I saw a lot of blood on the left foot and shocked me for a second. Is that a kind of birthmark or something like that?
Hi Marcelo. I did not try any of bois1920 range. Hope that is gonna change in paris next month. Boccanera is great. Regarding the Creeds, MI is just the shadow of a fragrance what it used to be, since my father was wearing it years and years ago. Aventus cologne performs on my skin way better than aventus
Mate Beach! What a beautiful day out there....goes perfect with my tried and true H20 mate! Thanks for the chocolate treats! I was also glad to see the Creeds come out as well. I own all three, but I'm sure you already knew that!
Yes a Beach Maté, there is nothing better, especially near the end of the day💫☀️ And yes I know that you are a big fan of all things that Creed… it was nice to bring these beauties out specially after our cold winter Great to hear from you Fred
It actually was😍. After I signed off, I turned the camera off and enjoyed the last bit of sunset on the beach drinking my matè😇….good to hear from you Raffi
That sugary white sand of that beach is amazing! That Xerjoff sounds intriguing to try. And Creed EROLFA is the greatest marine/oceanic scent in history.
Yes, this was an amazing place (Callala Beach, NSW), it's classic Aussie, plus we were in the bay, so it was very safe for the kids. And yes, was totally vibing EROLFA during this stay; it was the perfect fragrance for this setting. Thanks for reaching out @JT👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Have you ever eaten musk sticks? An Australian confectionery. They were brought to my attention in a Fragrantica comment on MDCI Chypre Palatin from an Australian who said Chypre Palatin smelled like Musk sticks taste. I was curious so I ordered some from an Australian store. He was right. Chypré Palatin does remind me of the taste of Musk sticks.
Erolfa is an amazing fragrance. I purchased a bottle years ago and I finished it (that tells you how much I love it). I was never inclined to purchase another bottle due to the alleged lack of performance from the newer batches, and I didn’t want to spend that much money on something that is not going to perform. That’s a beautiful beach, Marcelo! 👊🏽
I would have loved to compare the 2....I only know of this variety. I sometimes wonder if the performance against batches is actually a real thing?? Not doubting, just questioning....only because why would a company purposefully degrade their product? I would actually love to do an actual test on this and compare. Always good to hear from you Juan, thanks for reaching out homie👊🏽
I actually also had Virgin Island for this trip🤩 but I'm always talking about it that I thought I better hold off and shine a light on these other ones. But yes, for me Beach = Virgin Island. Not sure about it be discontinued. I know that I can still buy it here in Australia. I had a quick look just now on the Creed website and it's still there...so hopefully it'll be around for sometime still (love this one) Great to hear from you @xZyrux👊🏽
I would have liked you to speak more of Boccanera. As far as I know Alessandro Gualtieri doesn't reveal his secrets too readily. So, whenever I see lists of Orto Parisi perfume notes, I'd like to ask: How do you know what it consists of? I have Boccanera. For me it's a gourmandy very dry cacao scent. I'm aware it leans heavily masculine, but nevertheless, I feel perfectly comfortable wearing it, even though I'm a feminine woman and enjoy most feminine scents. I agree with you, it does contain wood, probably it is oud. Maybe musk too, what do you think? Boccanera is an ultra-beast. One spray is enough, and if you apply it on Monday you can still smell it on Friday, and there's very little exaggeration here.
Wonderful to hear from you Helen, appreciate you reaching out. If you love Alessandro’s work then I’m happy to say you have come to the right place😎. I’m a big fan of his work and have done a number of episodes on both Orto Parisi and Nasomatto. Here is a link to the playlist with a lot of episodes: ua-cam.com/play/PLl2get-JHWtc8nzTJFuLwhmp27jKu6rD0.html In regards to Boccanera I did do a full episode on this and yes I went into a lot more detail: ua-cam.com/video/C-xVeCVn06Mt/v-deo.html I’ll be curious to know what your thoughts are on these episodes. Thanks again for reaching out👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Thank you for these links. I watched the Boccanera one, not the other one yet. I don't quite know what to make of the butt hole thing. Anyway, it made me laugh aloud😂😂 Butt holes or not, I love Boccanera. It's either my skin chemistry or the interpretation on scents in my brain, but I can't take the sweet vanilla gourmands which are so popular today: they tend to make me nauseous. Orto Parisi is my favourite line, or rather, one of them, and Italy my favourite country, not only in perfumery. I find your videos informative and fun and I'm so happy I came across them. I'm been only 18 months into perfumes, so I'm reading, sampling and testing and learning new things all the time. It's all fascinating. Perfumes can make you feel so good, even happy, and you need it badly with all the unrest and horrible things going on in the world presently. Thank you for your channel🏵🌿
Hi Marcelo. Great episode. Is it bad that when I see an Australian beach I automatically think of Home & Away?😅Seriously though, they always look so picturesque. I only have a couple of fragrances with chocolate notes. I do like wearing them but the lack of versitility means they'll outlast most of the others I have. I've got to get around to trying Aventus cologne. I lose track of how many times ordered other samples and then remebered I forgot to add that.
Would you believe I've never watched a single episode of 'Home and Away'😂 so I'm going to have to take your word for it. But the good news is that they weren't fabricating on how our beaches look (mind you this is one of many beaches that look like this. I was actually surprised to find that most beaches in Europe are rocks or pebbles!! It was quite funny. I just assumed it would be like Australia with sand). I agree that the chocolate accented perfumes lend themselves more to a cooler setting...however try out Symphonium. The chocolate note isn't heavy and then the citrus and cardamon notes keeps it 'fresh' (although it does have oud in the base, but I'll be impressed if you can detect it....it's very subtle) And yes, Aventus Cologne....enough said. It's awesome Good to hear from you mate👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Yes, I can quite believe you haven't watched it. Unfortunately I probably grew up watching too much tv, while hiding from British weather. As for our beaches, they're brobably more famous for the sewage outflows than anything else these days😅 I did try symphonioum a round a year ago, I got a sample when I bought Alexandria 11. It is really nice but I haven't been able to justify it financially yet, I still have several Xerjoffs to try first that might be more versitile. Definitely getting a sample of Aventus cologne though. 👊🏽

I actually dislike the drydown on Symphonium. It smells awesome in the opening, exactly like a chocolate orange. In the drydown, what I get is comparable to women's bodywash if that makes any sense - it's like the components have a certain cheapness to them. Also, that post production lighting was awesome lol.
My wife picks up on the same thing that you do @Divine...loves the opening but not the drydown so much (also compared it to a bodywash😂); I'm not getting that at all. For me it stays on this velvety smooth sweet, slightly citrus woody note (I love it...I inhale it🥰). But clearly it's a thing being that both you and my wife are picking up the same thing. And yes, after I was watching the footage (and I had a suspicion) I thought I'd bring you guys along with the ride with the tweaking that I had to do...more fun that way😎 Thanks for reaching out; appreciate you jumping into the conversation (out of interest, do you mind if I know your name? You're a regular contributor and I always love using people's name; but if you prefer not too, then no problems at all....thanks again @Divine)
