I friend owns polo and having same issue auto gear didn't select He owns Punto also but never get a single issue seriously even his car also is duologic
Noway realy, I think most autoboxes have problems but the trouble with fiat the duel logic are impossible to find information about them let alone buy parts for 😠
There's quite a bit of information on a fiat forum. If you Google fiat dualogic transmission problems it was at the top of the page. It also mentions a UA-cam channel that does a lot with these gearboxes.

I didn't no I brought a whole duelogic system and tried everything to the point I think it was the ecu in the end as the duel logic was working so I sold it to some one that sells punto only

We bought a 500 Dualogic, if only we’d have known before buying. Worst idea I’ve ever come across from a car manufacturer

Should have replaced the memory mould under the steering wheel that control the automatic. But by the way, dualgoic is shit on later model.
