- Sarah is Ed's younger sister who tends to be bossy, spoiled, and short-tempered; only acting cute and charming when it serves her. Sarah has Ed's unending loyalty and obedience, mainly owing to her frequent threats of tattling on him to their mother. She has a very loud mouth, a hair-trigger temper, and is easily agitated by others, especially her brother. She is frequently seen with Jimmy and rushes to his aid the moment he calls for her. Sarah writes about her innermost feelings in her diary and has a crush on Edd (though this is usually not quite enough to spare him from her wrath).

Exactly that’s what I like about her. I always figured that her and Jimmy be that one couple that don’t get into arguments and are loyal to each other.

Sarah and Ed having super strength always cracked me up. Sarah can lift cars and tears toilets off the ground.

I remember reading on Tvtropes that Ed, Sarah and Rolf’s strength could be linked to their obliviousness, anger and farm work respectively.

Man, the writers really wanted it's audience to hate her, well congrats to them, they did it.

I like Sarah! I don't hate her at all.
You need good foils for the protagonists.
She encapsulates a lot of the best qualities a women can have, the short tempered thing is really more a way of making her endearing, because she's not perfect, her flaws are out in the open.
Very superb character and she's not even my favorite in this series, mine is probably Eddy who is similar to Sarah in some pretty obvious ways.
@nunyabusiness7056 short temper is especially at jobs where you might have a job with annoying customers at to the point u might hit them sounds like a future abuseing mother.

I really didn't like Kevin as a kid, but as I got older and less patient with people acting out, I related much more to him. Sarah, on the other hand, remains just as despicable to me now as she was back then.

Kevin was actually pretty tamed compared to the Kankers and Sarah. At least he minds his own business.
Same here I can relate & understand Kevin that I used to be just like him back when I would always ride my bike as a Kid & Teenager. Plus Kevin is one of my favorite characters in the Show “Ed Edd N Eddy”.
the worst that kevin can do is torment eddy when he doesn't deserve it, like when he found out about eddy's middle name, but other than that he's mostly just a (sometimes pathetic) bully to the eds and sometimes jimmy (but in a brother teasing type of way). i feel like he has a soft side deep down but he doesn't want to admit it
The only episode I didn't like Kevin in was the middle name thing. But other than that, you realize he's more of a victim who wants peace with his friends but the Eds always annoy him with the scams.
Sarah was the little sister from hell way worse than Angelica lol

This was the golden age of Cartoon Network. At least to me. We had Camp Lazlo, Codename Kids Next Door, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (least I think that was on Cartoon Network before Boomerang), Flapjack, Samurai Jack, Teen Titans, and more awesome cartoons. If you have watched or remembered one of these cartoons then your childhood was GOLDEN!

I'm 31 and this is still one of the funniest cartoons I've ever seen. The best part about it to me is the sound design.

Sarah is very satirical and funny, because she sounds like a redneck girl when being a permanent loudmouth from Texas. She has a very heavy temper and juvenile defense.

8:41 Ok this part really pissed me off as a kid especially now as a adult because this wasn't Eddy's fault when Sarah was being a rotten little brat and Eddy's anger when he told her to shut up was absolutely justified mostly the thing that annoyed me is that rolf was watching the whole thing and he still gets mad at Eddy when that was their last test of the urban rangers but remember that episode where Jimmy framed the eds and Rolf was on the whole thing so he could've planned this to happen to Eddy here. Screw Sarah this is why that part where Ed told her to Move in little blue Ed when he had that pebble in his shoe being Mad was one of the best moments of all time in this show. Overall Again Screw Sarah Smh
The thing this was a character test and once Eddy failed this one, then Rolf knew Eddy wasn’t urban rangers material.
@@burntThread Still this wasn't his fault for Sarah making him mad since rolf was watching the whole thing. I mean if you were in Eddy's position what would you do? Especially the fact Sarah threw the pie in his face??? Again Eddy's anger was justified and screw Sarah.
I think it was also a test of patience, dealing with rude neighbors.

I still count Pop goes the Ed as the official start of EEnE rather than The Edtouchables cuz the animation is choppier & episode screen music is distorted despite the Kankers being introduced in Nagged 2 Ed but when it came 2 Spectrum’s Kids on Demand & even the Complete 1st Season DVD labeling Pop goes the Ed as the official start of the series whether u call it a goof or not
