No need for quads really. And the 350's will only give you about 2-4 MPH extra top speed. The Trip 300's are the most efficient set up on 36-40 feet. Not to mention the fuel requirement for the 350's is difficult.
That's like comparing a grape to a watermelon! Fountain is not in the same league. Now, if you were to compare an Apache or a Magnum to a Cigarette; OK then 😎,,,,,,,. In fact, after 2000 I'd take an Apache; not a fan of step hull boats. Both Apache & Magnum have held strong; TRUE 24° DEEP V HULLS. Bless the both of them; great boats, great companies!
cordellej Mmmmmm if my memory serves me correctly, in the 80's, a few in management got busted, for exactly what I don't remember. They were known for making boats with compartments inside of compartments,,,,,,,😋. A few who didn't get a visit from the boys in blue; started Mayfair a hydraulic external steering company similar to Latham. How are the boats? Never heard anything bad about them, so I guess they were OK. A manufacturer more likely to be seen on the water in FL vs MA where I live. As I'm sure you know; they are now in the center console business and are doing well. You now know what I know; not all that much,,,,,,,😎. Top Gun, pre 2000, will be my next boat; can't wait! My dream will be fulfilled,,,,,,,,😙.
That's the ultimate fishing boat!! As far as pricing goes it easily surpasses the six figure range.
Unmatched beauty and Quality ::Thumbsup::
For the the triple and quad mercs. Just put on twin 557's.

How much money must I sacrifice to summon such a mythical beast?
I bought mine new for mid six figures back in 2011.
