- Tennessee police officers say they interrupted a burglary in progress. The Franklin Police Department was called to a shopping mall on Dec. 3. Body cam video shows cops arrived in time to witness people with what appears to be a sledgehammer breaking the tops of glass jewelry displays. According to Franklin Police, “There have been at least five similar incidents across Tennessee and Arkansas, over the past several weeks with a combined loss of more than $1.5 million.”
I wish it could happen more often where the police show up before the robbers get away.
Make strong laws to keep these lazy rats behind bars under mandatory work to pay for the caused losses and their jail expenses!
If human rights groups try to intervene in the mandatory jail-work, then ask them to pay for criminals' expenses.
It’s hard when they have had their moral completely destroyed. Easier just just to come after and make a “report”
Police have no duty to try to stop this or any crime and most of the time have no interest in making it to the scene while the crime is still happening and the officer may put themselves at risk. See DeShaney vs. Winnebago and Town of Castle Rock vs. Gonzales. The polices official job is pretty much traffic enforcement and running errands for the DA.
What’s the difference… they’re going to let them out in a matter of hours anyway lol.

broad daylight, dozens of people looking on. They actually got away.

This Robbery did not happen in Nashville- Davidson County. It happened in Williamson County where the Mayor Believes in Law and Order. Nashville’s Progressive Democrat Mayor implemented a Social Justice System and defunded the Police. If this robbery had happened in Nashville the criminals would have never been arrested.

so crazy I remembered something similar happened to Tampa Florida at one of our malls years ago and people went running from the mall and cops and the SWAT team surrounded the mall. It was after 9/11 and after a bunch of mass shootings and people just reported hearing loud things no one knew it was happening but apparently it was people with hammers or something similar smashing jewelry cases robbing a jewelry store right before Christmas. But imagine all those people hearing that noise and not knowing what was going on and running for their lives my daughter and I were on our way to the mall as it was happening so crazy

They don't do this often in NC, alot of gun owners carry, and you can use deadly force to defend someone and or their property here and do not have to back down from an attack even if you have a way to escape. Stand your ground is great.
