I push a friend away in December 2020, because of political reasons, but I look back now and realize he was a real friend who always encouraged me to go to college. I regret that I push him away. 😪

Living it right now, had 2 nervous breakdowns since 2019, lost my Mother 2016, suffering with severe depression, anxiety and Ptsd, now I have no one(family/blood)who I looked out for for years even moved them to my state and helped them, now I've been suffering/struggling to make it through each day, 4yrs and counting no family(siblings) at all, but I thank God my Wife and Children, and my Wife's family for being there helping me through my daily struggles😢😪🙏😎

Thought I was sad about having no friends, but this verse is exactly why. I only have friendship to offer, and that's not enough these days.

It’s not about “these days”. It’s about the right people.
SO TRUE, friendship just doesn't seem to web enough. Sad, but seems like after they are gone THEN they realize that.
I thought this too but then realized my purpose will bring clarity and answers to relationships. Who sticks around when things get hard? Who supports me in my journey and allow me to support them? Who really wants to be on a team? Build a real family? Who really wants to live in love?
Please be encouraged that there are people like us around. Your purpose and living it 100% will bring you to the family you're intended to have.

I only was a bother to him
I have been on a spiritual journey with God, and the journey has been phenomenal! I have realized when you are elevating yourself to the next level, God will remove people out of your life “who are against you” because, they can not be apart of your new journey, and they are a hindrance to your blessings. I am at the point in my life if something is not adding value & serves a purpose for a positive outcome, I will remove myself from the situation to protect my heart, happiness, and peace. I’ am physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally in good spirits by God’s grace. I will not allow anyone to block me from my blessings, and discourage me to fulfill my destiny. I prayed for God to reveal my hidden enemies. God exposed my best friend who I’ve known for 22 years. God also exposed her evil hidden agenda. God told me “She was pretending to be my friend for her own personal gain. She was never happy for me & never wished me well. She secretly competing with me for years. Our friendship has always been one-sided & unhealthy.” I am so blessed & grateful! God protected me from my enemies, and exposed bad friends who were in my life. I love myself to protect my happiness & peace. I don’t have any regrets for cutting off my best friend.

Where are you located?
I've had so many "friends" that left while I suffered extreme anxiety and depression. Friends that have betrayed and turned on me. Love this message, it reminded me to be thankful for the friends love me for who I am and not what I can do for them.
Me too some of them so called friends were in my life for 20 years but not anymore, and I have never been happier, don’t think for 1 second that it almost literally killed ( emotionally and health wise) me for the first six months but since then I have realise who my real friends are and look I said before I have never been happier

Embrace loyalty and strive to remain faithful to your chosen cause until all the work you can do for that cause is done, which in many cases may be the end of your life.
Loyalty is not dependent on reciprocity. Are you able to handle the winds and storms when things are not working your way? Are you able to still keep your word?

I am sorry, Jester Spades, "Unique Nish", "GodsChild412", & "Life with Pages" that you all feel like you have No Friends. Believe me, I have felt that kind of despair in the past (due to homelessness, joblessness, pain of divorce) but I can't say that anymore.
There are a great number of people that God has placed in my life to remind me (over and over again) that our FEELINGS cannot and Should Not be trusted. Trent Shelton said some really great things and touched on the importance of Friendship (Having Friends and Being a Friend) in this video, and he mentioned GOD, but he didn't tell us (as I just read this morning) "A Friend loves at all times, and a Brother (or Sister) is born for a time of Adversity". Those ancient words of Wisdom come from the Old Testament Book of Proverbs, found in the greatest Bestseller of all time, the BIBLE. Nor did Trent say that "A man of many companions may come to ruin, but There is a FRIEND who sticks closer than a Brother".
So many times I have gotten it wrong, people:
We were CREATED to Love God and One Another, but we end up LOVING THINGS and USING PEOPLE. A wise and loving friend of mine (another somewhat reluctant Follower of Jesus) once shared this with me:
"Hurting People (Do and Say things that) Hurt People"
There are a few ways to go about getting real friends. First and foremost, seek out individuals who are honorable and have integrity. Second, follow the golden rule. Be the friend you wish you had, treat them the way you want to be treated. Third, don't lie to yourself and trust your eyes --actions speak louder than words, so judge those around you by their actions. Fourthly, seek out "Positive" people who are trying to better thier lives in a positive and successful way. "Positive" rising stars want fellow rising stars around them. Lastly, overcome your social conditioning about what is "cool" and learn to see beyond the bullshit.
I’m fine with that. I got myself. Nobody gonna pay my bills or support me but me at the end of the day💯

This is where it's at, real truth spoken by a real man. Take heart and definitely take his words to heart because he is speaking truth from the heart. So if all you had to offer was friendship who can you still call a friend? I have 3 true friends, counting my husband as the first and the other 2 I have had since I was about 13, that is over 54 years that we have had a real friendship and I count my blessings every day that I have these 3 people in my corner and I'm in theirs. Well said Trent Shelton
