UMOGrunt Carlos Colon didnt do anything vince wouldnt had done. invader was like puerto rico's steve austin so carlos covered up for him because invader sold tickets(Used to before the murder) he regreted later on im sure cuz business went down once less americans stopped coming in. Reason i compare him to vince is cuz vince lied to protect jimmy snuka too after snuka murder his gf.

    • @UMOGrunt
      @UMOGrunt 6 років тому +7

*Carlos Colon didnt do anything vince wouldnt had done.*
Three things to note here though
one is the fact that Nancy Argentino's didn't happen at a WWF arena or show
two is the fact that their were witnesses to what happened in the situation with Brody unlike the Argentno incident.
and three is fact that the investigation into Argentino's death was never closed hence why Snuka would be rearrested on charges relating to that case. By comparison I don't recall the guy that stabbed Brody being rearrested on charges related to the crime.
I mean you can try to compare the two incidents but the Brody Murder is far more suspect.

Got to be trips... Hogan was drawing huge money in the 80’s and used that to leverage promoters for the rest of his career. Nash just took advantage of people with more money than sense.
Trips on the other hand has never drawn as a top guy, his best work was always as a heel working with The Rock, and Austin. You could have put either guy in with me and we’d have sold out every arena... Despite all that, he has never put anyone over when they needed it (Angle, Goldberg, Booker T, Jericho to name a few), and is something like a 14 time world champ?!

TheBestEVER4LIFE none of those people were drawing before 1996 though, you can’t compare someone beef for the wrestling boom to after the wrestling Boone. It’s not like all those guys were drawing before 96 and then HBK came in and all the ratings went down. The NWO started in 96 WCW‘s ratings were kicking the shit out of the WWF‘s, but the WWF‘s weren’t really going down anymore they were just staying the same. Through Brett, HBK, Diesel, Yokozuna, Sid.....All those champions the WWF had from 93 to 97 all have the same ratings, they were all low. If you want to get technical about it you can go on the network and watching 93 when Brett was champion and you can see that they were in high school jams or in the Manhattan Center in front of 2000 people I’m watching 1995 when diesel is champion and their least in front of 10,000 people now.

Funny that Undertaker is bigger than most of these stars and yet he is one of the most loyal and obedient soldier. If he has the ego of these politicians, the streak would not end at the hands of Lesnar.

Just Jim having an excuse to bury black wrestlers. Few of them as they are, it's always butch or ernie or whomever, I'm sure Jim wasn't even allowed around the locker room especially with his proclivities also he doesn't even give an example he just says he can see butch doing this or that which wasn't even the question being asked really

There are literally no stories of Hogan being negative backstage....literally none but the fans always cite him without reference. It is ridiculous even name Hogan in this topic, Hogan never stirred up anyone and never backstabbed anyone. He took care of a lot of guys and Hogan drew more than anyone else ever.

@@leelunsford8171 - Yup and consider that list and the majority of wrestlers that that issue with every one of those guys. HTM has flipped flopped on Hogan and KK Bundy nailed HTM on blasting Hogan. Hogan got HTM the job and the title at WWF which made his career, he was done until HH saved him. Macho was whacked and difficult, just listened to Konnan talk about him, almost everyone hated the Warrior and Breat Hart....LOL, ok dude....LMBO with that list. You literally named the worst and most blasted wrestlers, only missing Flair, and Abdullah to round out that list.

gebo ganes When you go into wrestling you gotta play politics and look out for yourself if you want to make big bucks especially if there was no guaranteed contracts like back in the days. But Hogan didnt buried anyone or made sure someone else got fired, He refused to job to certain guys but that was to protect himself and his value. Hbk n kliq got ppl buried and fired.

If Russo's a better writer why did he go work for WCW and TNA both of which were second and third to WWE and book some of the worst angles and matches to make TV?

    • @UMOGrunt

Russo is a guy who thinks disqualifications should work in a cage match, loves angles that involve people getting pregnant and then having a miscarriage, and apparently thinks that worked shoots and pole matches are must see TV.
You call go into a spiel about the last 6-12 years of WWE booking but that doesn't in anyway mitigate anything Russo's done over the last 20 years across three different wrestling promotions most of which was bullshit.
And incidentally saw him cause one of those promotions to lose their TV deal.
