it does, but tsuchiya is prepared to counter steer if needed. at 20:28 you can see when tsuchiya is kicking the clutch he turns the steering wheel just slightly to the left. he drives the ae86 for decades, he knows the behavior of his own car very good =)
I drive a 01 mx5 1.6 and yes it is dangerous to do it in a corner, it's really scary when you are at the grip limit. these guys have balls of titanium ;)

In GTR's problem with ABS, is there any setting in the ABS control to input data to accommodate wheel size change? In vehicle that I'm working on there's data to input if we change wheel size and/or final drive ratio.

In the specs break down of the vid it says its right around 200ps which is 197HP and that's probably wheel HP. It also mentions TODA Racing, which is probably cams or a 2.0L stroker kit. They still use the APEXi PFC for tuning. They use their own Spirits exhaust. An down by the transmission section it says C-ONE and an MT so maybe its a C-ONE special transmission possibly geared differently? Trans is then rounded out b the use of a Cusco RS 1.5 LSD. I wish I could read Japanese to decipher the rest. especially the suspension set up, but the Vid by Touge time does a awesome job doing that.

私はMR2は初代スーチャーと2代目初期と3期、MRSの2ZZ仕様と乗り継ぎましたが、2代目は重いし様々なバランスが他のミッドより悪いのでこのレベルでは無理です。スーチャーを240馬力ぐらいにして6速入れてスピリッツさんのように燃料タンク前置きにしてやると面白いと思います。それよりもMRSの足の造りが良いのでコーナーはMRSが速いです。
