I dont think backdash is a good option, but i have learnt delay tech and even if i went down to 1300 mr, ive been seeing results, i have been surviving in situations i would previously lose on. Looking to press buttons and forward jump next.
Is backdash strong against neutral jump? Also, don't most mediums set up tic throws? What to do if delay tech works and you blocked a meaty mid :( Situation basically reset. So annoying
Personally I think they should be adjusted and punish counter throws should just give you way more frame advantage so you can more punish wake up parry more. I don't think throw loops are over powered, I just find them incredibly boring to play with and watch as a spectator. I throw you, I throw you, and oh hey look at that, I walked backward this time.
@gingerbreadmann5699 many did in S1, but they did away with them. A few dlc characters had them when they were introduced, and then had them removed. I don't get why they didn't test this for SF6.

god I hate throw loops. Everyone hated them in SFV and here we are again.
Can't stand it either, and if hte only reason it's here is because of parry then that's a strike against parry as a mechanic too imo
How? Thats how 3rd Strike works too. If you go for parry, you cant tech throws for a few frames.@@Fishman573

Didnt most characters in sf5 not have throw loops. Im pretty sure you could check dashes after grab
