Antonio was the best thing about Samurai and honestly, considering that Dino Charge came after which was a much better season than Samurai, I don't think it was all bad.

Samurai was awful, the characters were so bland besides the gold ranger plus they randomly decide to add a female red ranger, the show had no character development and they only focused on the red ranger basically
Samuai has a undeniable Swag that really no other season has. I rather watch RPM but seem to be able to rewatch Samurai more then most seasons. There's something to it. Us old fans are mad because it regressed in some ways but we ignored all the good stuff. Look look look, don’t come at me, but samurai does have its flaws. I’m not blind to that so I wouldn’t call it the best season, but I would definitely not call the worst. This is the season that got me really into power rangers. If it hadn’t been for the season, I would’ve never been as invested in Power Rangers as I am today. There so many good things about it, their powers, the villains, the lore( though they did do Lauren dirty), and some of the acting needed some help but still good. Despite everybody’s hate for the remix of the original MMPR theme song, I love this version. Of course I didn’t know it was a remix from the original, but then I heard the og, and absolutely loved that one too, so I don’t prefer one over the other. Jayden is freaking GOATED for power use and everybody should’ve got a shot at using the shogun mode, because that mode is just straight fire. Mentor Ji wasn’t really a good mentor I’ll say that too. I say it’s a 50-50 for the season.
I feel like alot of people misunderstood Jayden's character . The reasons why he was leaving both times were for different reasons. The first time was because he didn't want a team because he didn't want anyone else to be hurt. The second time was because he felt like he was weaker because of the team cuz he used to go solo and now got beat up even with his team. He is misunderstood and has a pretty good arc ranger wise
I love that season! It's my first power rangers I ever watched. I watched that as a young kid in 2011 when I was 4 at the time. First time I see someone giving PR Samurai credit it deserves. Good job man!
No disrespect, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I have to be honest and say the majority of your points is everything copy and pasted from the source material in Shinkenger. The only original things they added to it was Mega mode and Shogun mode and changing Lauren’s story to be Jayden’s sister instead of making him just some random kid they had pretend to be the Shiba head. Shinkenger itself is a top tier Sentai series which is why Samurai being glazed on so much just feels misplaced since the rangers’ personalities, storylines, best moments, and even their motivations are just copy and pasted from Shinkenger, all while the seasons that came before and after did their best to be different from their Sentai counterparts in one way or another. That’s just my take on it, feel free to disagree if you like

Power Rangers Samurai and Super Samurai is a good series but I just wished they could add one final scenes of where Deker and Dayu were reunited in the after life since we never know if Derker finally remeber Dayu as his wife now that his curse is lifted. If I was the writer of the final episode of Power Rangers Super Samurai I would change one scene were the Rangers departed as Mia went to the place were she fought Dayu before Xandred absorbed her. Mia would place flower bouquet when the spirits of Dayu and Deker appear in their human form as Mia smile to see that they're reunited and said thanks Mia for the flower bouquet before they said goodbye as they'll finally going to be together in the after life.
I remember I Used to Love Samurai and had a Crush is Jayden, Then... Recently watched Shinkenger and then rewatch Samurai and BOY, I simply can't deal with how they changed Jayden's character Story but still treated as if it was Takeru's I still find it Ironic that Samurai did Best when they actually made something different to their Shinkenger counterpart. The Story changes for the Viallain's refering to what they did with Decker, Dayuu and the Nighlock, was fantastic and so interesting in its own right.

Mike and Emily were just plain boring and bland, and so were Jayden/Emily, if I'm being honest. Maybe if they'd written them better I could get behind them, but they were a total snoozefest, sorry. I could barely even bring myself to care when they held hands in the end. Now if the writing had been on a similar level to Ollie and Amelia (I'm going down with that ship), I would've loved them. To be fair, Mike and Emily had great potential and great chemistry, it's just too bad the writers didn't seem to put any effort in. It all comes down to writing. The Samurai writers just didn't make me care about Emily/Mike. I think Samurai was the only Power Rangers season where I didn't ship ANY pairing.

You can't always compare PR to Sentai cause I never watched the Sentai and had little problems with samurai. It's Sentai anime influence is why I like It. It's intense and focused on episodic plot and not a bunch of silly filler like some seasons
I like this season cause it did use it's Original Super Sentai ( Samurai Sentai Shinkenger ) story line . It may not be a perfect adaptation but it was a decent series

Imo the only Ranger team to top the zords in Samurai were the Mystic Force rangers. The reason? They ARE the zords, they only appear in the cockpit when they fuse into the megazord, and that's more like their combined consciousness. (Wild Force also is kinda close as well due to the unique properties of the zords being tied to "gems" minus the fact where monsters can effectively steal them (like Zen Aku) or destroy them (Master Org) due to them being literal gems.
I know this series is good it's excellent is it my favorite I would say yes this was my childhood and now I'm rewatching it just to make sure it's not a bunch of nostalgia this series is good of course not every power rangers series doesn't have its issues there are some irritating stuff but overall this is a great series

The problem you fail to realize is the fact that Jaydan has been in isolation for majority of his life. All he knows is training,training, training so when put into a team setting he’s spontaneously isn’t going to be a good leader. Another thing you fail to realize is that he connects his team all the fucking time. I mean he trains with them and they teach him to break his habit of always focusing on the next battle and relax. The reason that he left the first time was because he cares for his team and now values them as friends. The other reason why he left was because they tried their best to protect him because they thought he had the sealing power which why he didn’t want to put them at harms risk when he knew he didn’t have the ability they were risking their lives for. He didn’t intentionally endanger the kids as the nighlock didn’t go after jaydan directly. He want after the civilians to draw the rangers to him and jaydan being there was just a coincidence. The second time he left was because he knew that despite Lauren being the one who should lead, they would trust his leadership more than her which why he removed himself from the team completely and left it up to Lauren to take over. Deker wouldn’t have gone after Lauren either because he already saw Jaydan as his rival and the one that would break his curse. Like bro this is how ik you didn’t watch the show 💀💀💀

Look I know everybody has their own little guilty pleasure but I'm a need for you my man to go back over real seasons and then really come back around this way and really ask yourself what is really a good season cuz I would say only two out of the 6 rangers actually did a decent job everybody else I'm wondering what the hell they were there for. This season was the start of the decline of power rangers sense why they're not continuing right now because we haven't had a decent series in over 10 years. The only decent seasons we have within the last few years have been Dino fury and even Dino charge. Other than that everything else I'm afraid it's just trash.
Two things I did not like about this season: Moogers that gave children nightmares the way they appear and Octaroo that ugly (beep) (beep) with his stupid rhymes and appearance.

This season was the start of the decline of power rangers sense why they're not continuing right now because we haven't had a decent series in over 10 years. The only decent seasons we have within the last few years have been Dino fury and even Dino charge. Other than that everything else I'm afraid it's just trash.
