Our passions often point us in the direction of what truly matters to us. When we follow those instincts, we usually find meaning and purpose in what we do, even if it's challenging.
you should probably change up your recording environment for the VO, something in the background is creating a annoying high pitched soubd.. you could probably alsonremove that with an EQ
Do you mean when I recorded the guitar or when I recorded my narration? In both case it's in my studio and my PC's fan is probably responsible. You got a great ear and thanks for notifying me!
Absolutely, embracing our weaknesses helps us recognize areas where we can grow. It’s through overcoming challenges that we develop real strength and resilience. Every setback is a lesson in disguise!
Especially interesting project, i have some hundred ok:ish electrets and 072 preamps in my closet and as i'm moving i was wondering should i keep them... I also tried a stereo mic with 3D printed ears first... edit: ok, i'm keeping the electrets, i got all the components needed and a 3D printer to make a bespoke chassis that is more optimized for sound capturing. The first impressions are that it needs a filter to take out some "boxxiness", and probably a "secret" sixth mic that sits in the center and is muffled heavily, both acoustically and electronically to give it a good bass. Electrets tend to sound quite thin. Also, the pots need to be isolated from the mics mechanically, which means two units but that is not a problem at least in a prototype phase. And then there is the possibility of using a small sound console with six inputs as the "control box", which gives even more controls and routing options, like 2.1 (stereo + LFE on AUX).... With sixth "sub" mic you can also use it in a 5.1 mix.
@@squidcaps4308 i'm reading so many true and good ideas in this post. You are 100% right and this is something that I realise quite late, a single friction on the enclosure and all mic captures it. Someone also mentioned this, having the capsule isolated from the pre-amp. I still have a lot of crazy idea for this project and there's ton of place for improvement. On a final note, always keep your electret capsules :P really nice and fun component.
@@kurtcircuit I'm glad it could help! I rewatched some of my first videos and that was kind of good content. Maybe I should continue a bit in the synth direction and add new modules to the 6 existing one.

She had the gift of being able to paint songs.
She turned sound into sight, emotions into strokes. What is it that moves between two worlds but belongs to neither?
Really cool and it sounds great!
Next innovation should be a Decaphonic Mic or maybe the Penta Mic capsules in a seperate enclosure from the Preamp.
Oh man! Loving these ideas!
Results are *chef kiss*. Anyone who's listening without headphones is missing out
Thanks! Yeah it require headphone to fully appreciate it!
The things that one most wants to do are the things that are probably most worth doing.

Nature takes away any faculty that is not used.
Decision is a risk rooted in the courage of being free.
What fades when forgotten, yet thrives when nurtured? It vanishes in stillness, but grows with motion.
The only real valuable thing is intuition.
It speaks without words, leads without reason. What guides in silence and knows without proof?
