this was absolutely insane for me to watch. i’ve seen the show countless times but i’ve never watched any deleted scenes. it’s just so wild seeing this new content from when the show was actually airing.
I wish they could show us some of their past yes but not THIS scene I'm glad it was deleted the actors are really awkward 0 chemistry 0 best friend vibes and never would lorelai dress rory like a rich kid
dude this is wild. i always lowkey wished they had a few more episodes with lorelai flashbacks. i didnt think the young lorelai was THAT bad in that one episode but man, side by side like this you really see how she couldn't really capture the lorelai-ness of the character ):
I can see why they may have deleted the scene. The younger actors don’t have a great chemistry compared to what Lauren and Alexis have. It’s not as believable that they had a close best friend and mother/daughter relationship.
I still think it would’ve been good to keep those scenes in. Relationships grow and develop, it would’ve been nice to see snippets of how the Cool Mom Thing ™ actually grew
Except the actress cast as young Rory couldn't do it AT ALL. May not be the fault of the performer so much as the director, and I know most folks feel the young Lorelai actress wasn't a good choice either, but I always liked her.
My mom was a teenage mom and I would also go to work with her when I was little! At one point she worked at Honey 🍯 Bake Ham 🦃 and I used to play in the freezer.
Why is young Rory dressed like the ghost of a Victorian child? The chemistry between the actors sucks but the costumes alone are a bizarre choice that is never how Lorelai would have dressed her child.
Right? They literally have an episode where Lorelei says her mom forced her to wear dresses and ribbons and stuff and she never likes when people do that to a kid. I could almost see young, goody two shoes Rory wanting to wear things like that for certain events but I doubt it was day to day. I feel like it would've seemed less weird to put her in a sweater and jeans or something.
@@sierraHAHA... Brian left for part of a semester to do Into The Woods, but I guess he could’ve kept up with his schoolwork between rehearsals and shows?
I liked Chelsea a lot in Dear Richard and Emily, but I really like her here:) Kinda reminds me of Kimberly J. Brown in Halloweentown 2, like a LOT...almost as if she could've BEEN Marnie;)

I wish this scene was in here and more scenes about them younger, about them arriving at the Inn and throughout their lives

I wish they had a scene of Lorelei meeting mia wirh Rory Ik her arms as a teen 😢

Its because you saw them first. They are great too
They should've kept the scenes with young Rory. Would've added a new dimension to the episode.

Honestly I'm glad this scene was deleted. The people who play the younger Lorelai and Rory are so stiff and awkward I found it uncomfortable to watch

Nice memories
i loveeeee the deleted younger Rory scene!!! my heart is happy!
I really like this deleted scene seeing young lorelai and young rory

@@taylor7237 yea some girls love dresses though. im a few years younger than Rory and i loved being girly growing up
So the flashback never was shown in the show? That explains why I can't find it.
On the dvd it did

@@Scarylyn14 His name is Brad, not Brian. 😀
Wtf is a "saladictorian?" I know what a "Salutatorian" is though smdh.
I love young Lorelei 😀❤️💭
I think young Lorelai had a similar voice to DJ Tanner. (Full House)
No way! She would have kicked her booty!
Good video

This is a sweet idea but young Lorelai doesn’t sell it anywhere near enough.
I'm trying to figure out where that scene at the Inn would've fit in during that episode.
How could they delete that???
They should have kept this scene in.
Umm... I remember this scene in the first run. Was it deleted from the syndicated episodes?
Which scene??
