Even though the Atreyu Crochet channel is for beginners, I think it's necessary to build upon the basics. The great thing about crocheting is that even the most complicated of patterns can still be broken down to the very basics of crocheting.
Don't ever approach a crochet pattern with doubt. Simply break down the pattern and approach it one stitch at a time. If a stitch is foreign to you, then find a UA-cam tutorial on it, learn the stitch, and resume with the pattern. Although our starting point is that of a beginner, it is also true that that is not our destination.

Nicely done! I love that pattern because one size can fit a small head or stretch out to a larger head. Also the block style rocks. That coral color is everything! I've been waiting for that color to come out in a nice cotton or cotton rayon blend. Be well my friend.

I'm glad you like it and I agree that the stretchiness inherent in this type of pattern allows the hat to fit a range of heads or even the same head that has more hair on it in the future. It's pretty versatile. I also like the fact that you can completely control the uniqueness of the hat by when you decide to change colors.
