I feel the same way. I have own a BMW R1150GS for 22 years. I am now 63 and only 1.68m tall. As long as the bike rolls, everything is fine. Then it rides almost like a bicycle. 🙂 But when it is stationary or when I have to maneuver it, it has become too heavy for me. I need a lighter bike, but my heart is still set on the 1150GS. Thats why I was looking for something like the XSR 700.
@@TalkTheRide I had the Suzuki sv650. Yamaha xj6. Yamaha yzf125r. Ducati ss750. now i got the Benelli bn302r. never did try the tracer 7. but if i had the money it will be the tracer 7gt in blue 😀
Tracer 7 owner here, with 1,70cm feels perfect for what I need, after ride z750s for 15 years. Teneré is very good if you plan to do some offroad...if not there are better bikes you should look at. Seat, feel and ride many bikes it's the way to go...
New seat, lower footpegs and bar risers, should do something with the riding position and then something with the comfort. But did you try the tracer 9?
@@TalkTheRide Ohh I see, hey don’t be sad… the moments you cherish with your Xsr will remain in your heart. It’s not just about the bike, it’s the unforgettable awesome experience 😁
@@maikonobaiku yes, I'm ready to trade it in now 😊 and I'll still have these videos to remember it by 👍btw I still laugh about your "Iconic shirt" comment 😂 you're right, it's my brand now!
Selling a beloved bike can be quite difficult, and it never gets easier 😅
Hehe yes it's an emotional time for me😆

Yes, the XSR700 is great and very light. Maybe try the Tracer 7 also, it's light and not that tall?
I've heard good things about corbin seats. It might be tricky with international orders.
Yes I've heard Corbin make good stuff 👍 Are you thinking for the xsr?
@@TalkTheRide Yes! I have a 2022 myself
Cool 😎 it's a wonderful bike. I decided to get a Tenere Extreme, more legroom and size 👍 getting it next week 🎉🏍️🔥
You can ad a wind screen a taller seat. plus another handlebar. it may help alot 😀
True, but I think it would still feel small-ish under me. Do you ride the Tracer7 ?

Well said, there is no substitute for a test ride 👍

The mc guy at the shop was on holiday, so no 😊. But I'm trying a Tracer 7 GT tomorrow, I think that will be the one 👍
@@TalkTheRide if possible, try the tracer 9 too, because its not just the hk difference, but bigger bike, more possibilities for comfort 👌
Nooo! 😭 not the xsr 700, keep it and add an additional companion; Tracer900 😂
😁 I can't have 2 bikes! I tried some bikes today and feel ready to move on from the xsr 👍 (videos soon)
