Good demo not seen one of these before be interesting to see a 360 one made though at moment cannot imagine what it could be used for. That said you have 360 already on the camera stand. If I had one would need breaks on it.. haha the good old American flag!
You say you don't think this can handle a broadcast camera? I thought the overall weight capacity was 77lbs, and they advertise this slider as "supports ENG cameras."

Thanks for the great, thorough review. I just ordered a cheap slider on amazon, and it will work well enough for me until I can afford a good one. Seems like, along with the term "bokeh", it's the current rage in videography. Remember when the US was trying to convert to metric? (I'm sure you're too young - might have been in the 70's or 80's) It's a much more sensible system.
I wish you would have showed a tight shot of the track and was the slider friction based or did it have roller bearings. I personally would never buy a friction based slider again. To me the build of the track and the flex of the track are key. At least it looked like a stable flex over the four feet run.

Can this slider handle a heavier ENG-style camera? For example, a 35-40lb Panasonic P2000.
