Hello, did you drive on this road on 225/50 profile tyres? I have the same profile tyres and I always wondered if I can go offloading. I recently bought pre-owned ecosport and this is my 1st car, so I am little ignorant about car related stuff. Thanks for uploading helpful videos.
Yes it was 225/50 profile. You can do minor off-roading but still need to be very careful to avoid damage to tyre and alloys. This profile provide bare minimum improvement in side profile. Ideally for off roading you need high profile tyres. And also with lack of 4x4 only basic obstacles can be tackled with momentum.
@@myecoboost okay, thank you. I will have to change my tyres in near future. I will get in touch with you when the time comes. If you have an email address that would be great.
@@myecoboost hello, I have one more query. How much PSI do you maintain in the tyres? Company recommends 33 to 35, depending upon number of passengers. Do you maintain the same for 225/50? Thanks
I've been on these roads. Sometimes I had to walk up and make a little strategy to climb such patches, including putting some rocks to fill the potholes. Most difficult were the hair pin bends with steep slope. Plus the ever-present nuisance of on coming vehicles. Such wild days. Thanks for refreshing my memories.
I too made this climb after 3-4 failed attempts. Analyzed the approach after every failed attempt. At steeper inclines like this front tyre's loose traction very often.
Yes, mine is 1.0 Ecoboost. There is lag below 1500rpm. In hills I try to keep it above 1800rpm for good pull. In hills rev more before upshifting so that you are always in turbo range.

Not only yours. It's mine too. Love u Ecosport ❤️

How many passengers inside the car..? Or Only driver ..?
Only driver. The slope was much steeper than what it looks in video and uneven road with slippery rocks. Was able to climb after 4-5 attempts.
That doesn't look like an ecosport interior
It's 2018 Ford Ecosport 1.0 Titanium S
Petrol engine or diesel?
Petrol
But how this is petrol engine and petrol engine only produce 149 nm of torque
